For full penetration, will pushing hard (creating a 1/8" dimple) not suffice as opposed to speed of travel? When I consider the length of time I expect to use injections, the beauty of the results yet the risks involved and cost of correcting them, it's more than preferable that I overcome "needle phobia" and practice the injection techniques. I know I will not always be able to precisely locate an injection site for an auto-injector and I've come to realise that the "feel" of entry is important for ong term safety ...

Guys

Keep in mind there is little diffrence between a 5/16 and a 1/2 needle. It all depends on the girth of your penis. If you're quite thick a 1/2" makes more sense, if you are rather thin, a 1/2 inch may hit the center septum between the CC. I found thru estimating that a straight in 5/16 needle (dimpled) would always get me near the center of my corpus cavernosa. If you inject into the tunica or the septum you'll probable get poor results. See link to diagram below.

My take...
Pushing doesn't insure full penetration. If you're up against a layer that's resistant, you will simply push the layer forward and the needle
will rest against it without piercing it. If you have enough momentum (speed), the needle may have a better chance of piercing that obstacle.
Think of a bullet penetrating a hard object. For most people, it probably doesn't matter...but for those who are problematic with injections, I would highly recommend an auto injector. Nothing ventured nothing gained. ;)

Agreed! I should have been clearer on that. I always create the dimple with a forceful, fast push to guarantee penetration. Since I've learned to do that, I have had virtually no failures, but an auto injector is a good option too, especially for guys that have impaired dexterity.

I find it's hard to believe anyone's Penis sheath is thicker than 5/16 no matter what the girth is. The tunica will be penetrated by a 5/16 needle. A 5/16 needle does less damage simply because it doesn't go as deep but reaches the Corpus cavernosum.
Use Super Quadmix due to severe Venous leak.Have a GREAT DAY!

I agree with you. I am using the 1/2 needle set to 5/16 with an Autoinject EI.

I use a half inch needle with an auto inject EL with the depth set to 5/16 and have never had a problem I truly believe the fast thrusting of the needle with the injector penetrates everything needed to get the medicine in the right spot. As others have also said if you're not using an auto inject use a 5/16 inch needle the thickest cock is still going to get the medicine where it needs to be with average or smaller guys you might be going to deep which could also be a problem.

I have been injecting Trimix for about 4 years now with great success outside of a scare with some scar tissue which resolved itself with the help of some treatment and just time...I use an auto-injector and the other day I injected as usual but while having foreplay I noticed like a sac of fluid where I injected..No blood...but I knew from the way I was responding ( couldn't get hard enough) that I missed the sweet spot..Has that ever happened to anyone? I had no bruising afterwards, no bleeding just a weird looking penis for a few hours. The Trimix was the obvious "bulge" and my body just absorbed it so a few hours later I was fine..I was tempted to do another injection on the other side of my penis but chickened out. My second question is if this has happened to any of you guys did you ever inject again on the opposite side? I know my Doc would tell me it's a "no no"...but damn, I was so disappointed and that old failure feeling came rushing back....hate this ed..

Not sure about the Trimix causing a bulge in your penis. How much are you injecting? As for your other question, several people here -- including me -- have reported injecting on the other side of the penis after an apparent injection failure. I've done it several times with no ill effects, although you are right that the medical community would strictly advise you not to do that. An injection "overdose" could lead to an erection of more than four hours and a trip to the emergency room.

That said, many of believe a failed injection is just that, and that a second injection on the other side of the penis will not cause any problems in that situation. However, I would not insert on the other side of the penis with a second full dose. The few times I have done this I injected a half dose or less on the other side and that did the trick.

The medical community will always advise the most conservative approach because the drug works so differently for all of us. An injection that would give one guy a raging 5-hour hard-on might have no effect on me whatsoever. Stuff like that prompts many of us to tweak the conservative guidelines a bit when necessary. As for me, in more than a year on Trimix I haven't had any negative reactions or prolonged erections.

Good luck to you.
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

Very true. I too, have double injected after a failure. But, I agree injecting a full dose is problematic. Even when you miss, some of the med gets distributed, so a full dose may be just too much.

I think the docs are super conservative all the way. Re: needle breakage is really a non-issue, and I think many guys that wind up in the ER with "priapism" -- more for emotional issues, than a real problem.
