I always alternated injection sides, but finally found the left side is very difficult to penetrate.
Now, I inject on the right side almost exclusively. I don't know what else to do unless I get some stronger needles which doesn't excite me.
So far, no bend.

Are you using an Auto Injector? It may help you inject in the left side easier as I know in my case I am right handed and I wouldn't be able to inject the left without it.

I have an autoinjector but haven't been using it. Think I will start using it. I have only used a few times in the past. I am not scarred at the base and near the head. I'm scarred just in the middle on both sides.

Well I saw the urologist today, a doctor Ashely Tapscott.

Education
Undergraduate: University of Tennessee, Bachelor of Science, Communications
Graduate: Edward Via Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Internship: Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Urologic Surgical Residency: Albert Einstein Medical Center
Fellowship: Sexual Dysfunction at Cleveland Clinic Florida

I told her my libido up and left about a year ago. I told her that maybe it was my age, 61, and she nah, you look too healthy. Anyways she is going to do Doppler on me. She said she would inject me with trimix and observe what's going on. She is also going to check my testosterone levels. She did tell me that she has heard some negative things about the pharmacy I was using and was confident in the one that she uses. So we'll go from here. She does do the implants, she's done hundreds. She did 12 in the month of December alone. She gave me a video explaining it, if it comes to that. I hope not, but I guess the test will tell us.

Oh she said I had a little bit of scarring, but she said that it wasn't bad.

So I will get the test next Tuesday.

She is in Huntersville, NC. Anyone hear of her!

Sounds like you are on the right track with this Uro. The Doppler will determine if you have proper blood flow and that is important. Hopefully, the Trimix will work as well on you as it has on me. Don't throw the towel in at your age as I am 72 and still going strong on the Trimix. Keep us posted on your progress and remember....Never give up!

How was your blood flow? I guess I'll find out how mine is. But I'm also under the impression that since my last doctor changed the compounding pharmacy, I noticed that the trimix didn't work as good. So I'm hoping this doctors pharmacy will be better.

Fortunately, my blood flow was good. They gave me a test dose of Trimix in the Clinic and I had very good results. They gave me a Rx for 30 2 25 Trimix and recommended a 30 unit dose which I cut back to 20 units and gave me a 3 hr erection. I reduced it to 15 next time and then to 12 after that.

I have had very good results with 12 units and even used 6 units with good results. It does take a little experimenting to find the dose that works best for you. Good luck and I look forward to hearing about your progress.

I'm fearing the worst, because I haven't gotten nocturnal erections for about a year. It probably is a blood flow issue cause I read that if you don't get these, the ED is more than likely a physical condition.

I think I need to tell the doctor that I am taking a sleep aid. I was taking melotonin for years, but recently switched to an over the counter sleep aid you get at Walmart. Perhaps this is interfering.

Well, I found out that I have a pretty good venous leak. Got great blood flow into the penis, it's just leaking out. :( The doctor suggested getting a band that you can easily tighten and loosen. She said the ratio of blood going in to going out was about 35%. I'm relieved to know what the cause is. So it wasn't a strength of the trimix at all that was the issue. The trimix she gave me for the test was a moderate strenght, and she said that it worked just fine. So if I can achieve a pretty good erection with the band, I'll be happy. Haven't had sex with my girl in about a month now.
