I really appreciate you sharing your story and I hope things can be saved for you. It is really promising to hear that injections had that much of a positive effect. I firmly believe we a bunch of successes with it I can get back to not having it be an anxiety driven situation and can get back to how we always have been, also conceiving should help as well.

I guess my analogy right now is the classic Tattoo argument where people ask what you'll do when you're older about it and most respond with they only care about the present. I'm unsure if that is the appropriate analogy but getting some guarenteed success under my belt and not having another failure is my main focus now. We will see what the urologist says Monday. Thanks everyone for sharing their thoughts.

So a quick update from today's urology appt. the guy basically said since I have healthy tissue he doesn't want to give me injections being so young. He suggested I take ssri's for the anxiety and keep trying viagra. He said in a couple months if nothing changes then he'd consider injections but fears since I'm 30 I could have priapism even at a low dose. Wasn't the best news to hear but am just going to keep working thru it with my wife and see if can overcome it, anyone else think taking an ssri would just make matters worse? Those side effects have been why I've been avoiding them, I just need to get over my performance anxiety, any suggestions on how to proceed? Thank you.

Yeah, I wouldn't be rushing to use SSRIs either but you may have to. How about trying a shrink or therapist that does hypnosis therapy?

My 2¢
Bottom line is this ... Is that acceptable to you ? If it is , that's great...If it's not, try a different Urologist one that is willing to work with you ... At the end of the day u got to be ok with how you manage you ED ..

Thanks for both of the replies. I just can't accept the physical side effects that an ssri will cause and was really banking on injections therapy to get me past this. This is the main urology office where I live so unsure on how to proceed. Continued practice with my wife and becoming comfortable again to try to relieve the anxiety is my current plan with the help of viagra.

Sounds like a good approach... Other option if that doesn't pan out well is to look into a Online consultation with a respectable clinic such as one mentioned on here .. I don't know if I'm allowed to use the name of the facility , I never used them but read alot reviews and seems like a terrific option .. Company name begin with letter D based out of Florida .. I'm almost positive it's cash or credit maybe they accept Insurance but not sure.. The cost is not bad considering ..I myself am uninsured medically and if I would have known more about said company before I started my quest to get a erection, I would have used them from the start and saved a crap load of money because I'm self pay and I went through all kinds of GPs Urologists and all testing imaginable it ended up costing me a small fortune to get to where I am now... It's a option to look into if u are still interested in Injections. I'd gladly give u the name if u want to Pm me and check them out yourself do some research on them see what u think .. I've read alot of guys on here used the online consultation with them ..And they seem happy happy happy!

You are fine to tell people the name of the company. You just can't provide all of their info and do this all the time. Look at it like this... if you look in the phone book, loot at the very little in the white pages (that is allowed). If you post resembles the yellow pages, that's advertising and not allowed. I hope you guys have white and yellow pages in your phone book, we do here in Canada. :)

What is a phone book? I seem to vaguely recall something by that name a number a number of years ago. I think it was a type of litter than showed up by the mail box every year or so that eventually blew away or composted into the dirt. What does that have to do with anything? What were those things anyway? They quit showing up a few years ago.

Ok thanks - anyone have any experience with that place? I put in for a free consultation but am obviously weary of the situation, knowing someone that had direct experience would be great.
