I'm such a wuss!
Re: I'm such a wuss!
Jim,I'm holding off on the Trimix until tommorrow when we plan on just staying home and not expecting any guest. Before I got the b@lls to inject I had my wife order the autoject 2 which hasn't come yet but I figure I might as well get used to injecting without it. HAPPY NEW YEARS to you and your family!

Re: I'm such a wuss!
Hey Jim, actually, some diabetics inject insulin in 0.05 units so the extra tics come in handy. I like the idea of a 30 unit syringe. I have been using syringes for insulin for 20 years and never was aware I could get them below 50 units.

So how's the learnin' going? You haven't posted for days. Time to come out of the bedroom and report in.
Dt: I am really glad to be of service on the .30cc syringe idea. I got them thru Amazon. The strange thing about it was -- in previous year I was able to buy in 100 count packages, but in 2012 I couldn't find any deals at 100 -- had to go 500!! Jeezus that's a lot of syringes -- but should last a couple of years at least. I kinda like that they are a lot smaller beacuse now the landfills will fill up slower with all those smaller syringes. So that's a good thing.
On the Auto-Injector idea. I know that they are supposed to take anxiety AWAY, but for myself even those little finger prickers used to draw blood give me MORE anxiety as I press it to a finger. I cannot imagine (ok yes I can) the anxiety of pressing a Auto-Injector to my member. So I have always just used the manual slow-mo dig in the needle method. Less stress for me somehow.

Re: I'm such a wuss!
Jim, I received the autoject a couple of days ago but haven't figured it out yet so I did inject without it for the second time 0.2. I will be uping the dosage to .03 next round and hoping to hit the dosage where I can finally have intercourse with my wife. I have to admit the whole injecting thing is really stressful and a mental turn off so far but hopefully when I get it right it will be worth it.
Thanks for asking

Mike,
Mike...You will get it right if you keep moving forward, and you will end the stress once you see the sexual results that you will have with a 1-2 hr hard-on ...you will be able to please your wife to her limit, you will be happy ...and you will start looking forward to the next time using your trimix.
I remember how nerveous I was in the beginning, that is all gone now and the feeling of full sexual satisfaction for both parties is a really reat place to be...keep up the good spirits....we are here to help in anyway we can.
Cheers,
Curt

Re: I'm such a wuss!
I am a diabetic and part of the cause of my ED is neuropathy - damage to nerve ending in the penis. Accordingly, I am actually thankful when I can feel the prick of the needle. If I didn't, I would be in big trouble. For me, the prick is a reassuring feeling.

Re: I'm such a wuss!
i use a very fine insulin syringe that holds 0.3ml for my 2.5mcg dose its a tiny syringe and so easy to use
Re: I'm such a wuss!
Mike, You're not a 'wuss' because of your hesitation to stick. I've self injected insulin for over ten years, and I still hesitate when it comes time to sticking my own pecker. The level of 'pinch' is definitely higher, but definitely bearable. If you want to reduce injection discomfort still further, buy a tube of numbing cream from one of the Canadian pharmacies or get your doc to write you a script for EMLA. I too recommend having your wife inject and incorporate into foreplay. Being torqued up and wanting to get to it removes a lot of obstacles.

Tomlander,I've noticed that a few drinks before injecting helps a bit.
