Rickey... Thank you for sharing your education with me. It is very helpful in my early learning stage here.

Upon my first injection at the Urologists office where they gave me 28 units as a starting point (fortunately on my right side which seems to be the less reactive side relative to dose), they sent me home with an erection that wound up lasting over 6 hours. They mentioned nothing to me about the possibility of this and what to do if it happened.

I did everything I could based on all the internet information including 120 mg Sudefed, ice packs, knee bends, and nasal spray into the urethra.

I am wondering if in an emergency priapism it would be advantageous to actually inject the nasal spray with the insulin syringe directly into the penis as such with the trimix.

Do you have any thoughts on this, and if it makes any sense, what would be a dosage to use?

As it stands now, the chance of priapism is my biggest concern in that the last thing I want to do is go to the emergency room with this issue.

Talk about ironic. For years my big fear was not being able to get and maintain an erection for sexual performance and now my big fear is the thought that I may not be able to lose it. LOL

Hi, I would NOT inject ANY non sterile substance into the penis under any circumstances, as this can be dangerous. Infection of the penis would be a distinct possibility, along with damage to the underlying tissues.
I too think about priapism, and have had four 6 hour erections in almost 2 years. I have been able to resolve the erections with no trips to the ER. But I was a registered nurse for many years and I know what to look for if the penis was in trouble with circulatory function impaired.
If your penis is not blue, purple, cold, or in pain, it is in ok shape. When it's painful cold and discolored, then there's a problem.

This is a calculated risk that I gladly accept, and so far I am very pleased with the results.

Again Rickey, let me thank you for your gracious and intelligent responses to my questions.

One thing that I am becoming very certain of is that injecting on my left side produces a much more positive reaction in terms of speed erection occurs, hardness, duration of erection, and dosage needed for all of the former.

I imagine that there are some things more universal, but at the same time there is a lot specific to the individual and one must experiment and observe closely, keeping in mind that you should not necessarily expect the same results of other individuals and so it is imperative that one keep an open mind and work off of the actual results you experience.

With this said, however, it is very helpful to have the experience of another related to you as a starting point in removing some of the mystery out of beginning a new therapy such as this.

Progress report as I continue through my early education of trial and error.

Sunday did 5 units into right (seemingly less reactive side) and got absolutely nothing.
Decided to try again on the following day (Monday) and used 10 units on the right side again. This time within 5 minutes I knew it was working and I had a raging hardon for 6 hours once again with thankfully no problem repercussions.

I am diligent in the location I am injecting in terms of 2:00/10:00 but now I am thinking that I may get better results with the injection lower (more to the base of the penis) on the shaft.

The one thing I know is that it is totally a trial and error, observe closely, and be patient kind of learning experience. It is not a "one size fits all" scenario.

There are so many variables here that you must not be so much expecting as accepting and then adjust as needed based on that.
