I've suggested to others that they try the very slow or slow pulsed injection. I'm fairly certain it's working for me. Do you think it helped you at all? I don't want to continue suggesting something if it doesn't work for others.
Based on my experience you may be expecting too much too soon. Injections didn't work real well for me initially soon after my surgery. I don't know how much nerves I lost but my cancer was also in the margins. At my Uro's suggestion I was taking daily Viagra, pumping nearly every day and trying injections, which were Edex at the time. None of that produced satisfactory results initially. It took my own therapy for a good while before the injections started producing consistent useful results. IMHO pumping is crucial.
As for the pain. Until I get feedback telling me it doesn't work for anyone else I stand by my suggestion to inject very slowly. I initially got a good deal of pain which eventually lessened over time. With my slow injection method it's almost non-existent.However, I don't think my pain was ever as bad as you're experiencing. I would get a very sharp ache that would distract considerably from the experience and hinder climax but it was never a 10 on the pain scale. Also while the Alprostadil is reportedly the suspected cause of the pain it is also the main component that gives the erection.
I wish you luck and hope the bi-mix is the ticket for you. Remember, it's still early for you post surgery. Have patience.
