I'll leave this discussion where it is. Those that want to run to the ER after 4 hrs no problem. I still stand by what I have said here.

I've gone over 4 hrs many times without any apparent ill effect. I will be eating pseudoephedrine if it doesn't seem to be easing off by then.

I'm using .09ml and hard for about 3.5 hours tried .8 and only hard for 15 min. funny how just that little bit changes it. When I say I'm hard at 3.5 hours its not like a rock but stiff. Cant really go jogging after sex but for me that works.

For me it more depends on many other factors .... how do I feel, how aroused I'm, and Hell know what else.... I may have longer erection with less units injected.

I am 58 and have only been injecting for about 3 months. I have injected once (sometimes twice) a day for up to a week at a time. My wife and I had not been able to have sex for almost 2 years before I found Trimix, so we are eternally grateful and really excited to get our sex life back on track and even make it better than before. I am on Hormone Replacement Therapy as well. My T was only 84 when I first got it measured in 2012. Now that it is back to normal, I still have the BP meds and hypertension giving me ED issues. The Trimix cures that issue nicely, and relieves any performance issues I previously had as well. I had tried Levitra and Cialis, but the side effects were terrible and the results were inconsistent. The first time I tried Trimix the doc gave me the injection. I was rock hard, but felt great, for almost 12 hours. There was still plenty of blood flow, so my dick felt normal, just really hard; like when I was a teenager. No damage. It was a Friday when I got injected, and when I passed the 5 hour mark, the doc's office was closed, so I went with my gut. Let me say that I would not risk that again, and if anything had seemed abnormal, I would have made a bee-line for the ER. I dropped the dosage by half and got it down to 6 hours. Again, no major discomfort, just annoying, since my wife was sore after about an hour. I finally have the dosage to where I get a solid 3-4 hours. If I drop it more than that the results are not consistent. I have also found that there are sometimes differences depending on the injection site (left or right). My wife is starting to get used to the extended time, so the extra time isn't totally wasted. I have noticed that my erection lasts longer the more times I orgasm, which makes sense, since I am still pumping blood down there when aroused. Without the Trimix I just couldn't keep it erect with all the BP meds, which, by the way, they don't tell you also cause ED. Another side effect of all this renewed activity and being rock solid for hours, which was never the case before, is that I seem to be getting thicker. No complaints there either. Trimix has definitely helped our relationship. I can't say enough about how much happier we both are now. I only wish I had found out about it sooner. I stumbled on it completely by accident researching the internet looking for alternate solutions to my ED problem. It's almost as if the search engines were trying to promote the expensive pills with a so-so success rate over a much cheaper solution that was over 90% effective. In a former life I was a physical fitness trainer. My advice with this or just about anything else is that you know when your body is telling you something is seriously wrong. Don't ignore the signals. Bad painful sensation is a warning that something is not right and you should seek out medical attention immediately. Also, everyone is different to some degree. What works for me, may not work for you. So, 12 hours was fine for me, but might be a disaster for someone else. Again, in my case I was not in any pain and nothing felt unusual, other than having an amazing erection that lasted longer than it ever had before.

Clearly from time to time a nearly universal issue for those of us who enjoy those awesome "injection erections". An erection that lasts for hours sounds great until you start having them. Sex takes so long my wife and I have to plan entire afternoons. Trouble is after a while 20-30 minutes in our case, much of the sensation fades and my wife has had all the orgasms she can handle (2 almost always, sometimes 3), but the erection goes on, often not only prolonged but also even more full and harder that it was in the first place. One feels sooo good, but the other not so much, as these gentlemen have described, more troublesome that pleasurable. And then there's the worry about cock damage.

I'm a 5 year user of Alprostadil (Edex), from a compounding pharmacy. I have LOVED the certainty of an erection from the start, loved knowing my wife is holding, stroking and sucking my hard dick, which is harder than I've been since I was in my 20's, only this one is durable too, and that she is so tuned on by that hardness .

I've only had 1 "emergency" and that was quickly resolved by my uro's midnight advice, after 7 hours total time, by taking 4 Sudafed tablets and applying some ice.
You need to not get the "time release" type of Sudafed. go for "nasal decongestant". i keep it by the bed now and find it helps get even lesser long lasting erections down, so fro example I can go out to dinner after sex without a tent in my lap! I think most guys don't take enough Sudafed....4 or even 5 will do the job. Take them all at once with water.

Recently had my trial shot of Tri Mix, hoping to reduce a problem I have had cumming (anorgasmia) which seems connected too sensation loss. it took a while and didn't produce the near instant hardon alprostadil gives me but 2 hours later after driving home erect I had fine sex with my wife. Much like that first time with injection 5 years ago. i was only about 80% by then. But she came and I kept going. IN just 10 minutes of so i had a nice strong orgasm and ejaculation. I think our penises just enjoy variety.....big news that! Suggest everyone who injects have a package of Sudafed handy....includes for solo masturbation, when you might have unexpected company.
Injections for 5 years PGE-1 (Alprostadil) 40 mcg /ml. Trying Tri Mix (20-2-30 . Hope is shift in meds will restore some sensitiviy. Enjoy sharing openly withother "EDguys". Love the site, informative and entertaining too!

When I inject 12 units, I have erection for 3-3.5 hours, yesterday , because of the specific circumstances, I didn't want erection to last so long and injected 8 units..... had vary very soft erection for 20 min and that's it ...NOTHING ....
Do you guys have similar issue?

Sounds to me like you didn't get the needle placement right when injecting?
