Just to have if needed... what are you guys getting to use in case of a prolonged erection? Sudafed ? what kind strength?

Benadryl 25 mg knocked down a pretty good stinging woody and you will get so drowsy afterwards you will sleep for a couple of hours. I thought I'd used a non-drowsy version in the past used for other reasons.

Somebody else used Benadryl?
I used pseudoephedrine and it actually does nothing

A good hot bath really helps. My theory is that increases the blood circulation to other parts and helps drain the critter as well as sweeping the residual chemicals out. Did an above normal injection today for a special event and between a hot bath and Benadryl it worked fine.

How much mg Benadryl do you take? Maybe I need to take both Sudafed and Bendryl.....

25 mg of Benadryl. I am cautions about Sudafed. I was taking it some years ago to help clear up a pernicous sinus infection and I could not get an erection no matter what. It is an erection killer. I imagine Benadryl is too but I don't know how long it stays in the system. Sudafed seemed to stay quite a while. And a caution on Benadryl. it might make you really drowsy, on top of a orgasm. I'd not plan a lot of activity afterwards.

In my experience there is no OTC that's effective. I have consistent 4-6 hr erections..not painful. I take ibuprofen. If I walk up stairs it helps...but on and off. Not a problem for me...just fall asleep with it.

Honestly, the best boner killer I have found is a good hot bath, I mean good and hot. It goes limp within a few minutes. It sucks the blood right out and with it the burning Rx chemicals if that is an issue. I do sauna and hot/cold treatment at 200 deg and try to get that same sweat in a bath to sweat out the toxins and get the lymphatic system moving. Guys swear by ice packs but that is really unpleasant.

Just an item to contemplate.

In my readings, and I don't recall where, I read that at least part of the reason that blood can safely stay trapped in the penis for so long to provide an erection is that it is essentially outside the body and therefore held at a lower temperature which in turn reduces the metabolism within the penis, reducing oxygen consumption. If using cold to reduce an erection it would seem to have the added benefit of further reducing metabolism and oxygen consumption. This would seem to further reduce the chance of damage. I would think the hot bath method would increase the metabolism, oxygen use and potential damage. Of course if the hot bath works quickly that wouldn't be an issue.

Those are just my musings based on something I read. I have no medical expertise and therefore I may be spewing total BS.

Ive used sudafed with fine results. I was on hour 5+ and it was getting painful.
Took 4 tabs , went to sleep and had no issues.

You can buy a "knock down" or reversal shot.
But really the active ingredient is the same, just not the delivery or qty.
