"Booster Shot"?

I've read several guys posts who say that after a bit of time, which varies with time and position, they go a bit limp. I've noticed this especially related to position and dose. It could happen at 20 min or to 40 min depending on dose. Some old-favorite positions are out as well, like on the bottom. What have folks found that helps this? Twice now I've done a small "booster shot" at this point, we needed some air anyway, and it revived me within a few minutes to go another 20-40 minutes. Maybe the chemicals get washed away a bit?? Suggestions on this are much appreciated.

Sounds like it is time for an implant
, that is what happen to me after 12+ years on injections. Had my implant almost 5 weeks ago, love my flaccid size, use to be a turtle dick! waiting for activation on the 8th

My
non-medical professional suggestions:
1) Try using a pill with it. It helps me although pills do nothing for me on their own.
2) Try adding a cock ring. I use a Lyps brand novelty ring behind the boys. I think it helps. You'll have to experiment and find which style and brand works for you.
Of course, always consult your doctor and follow his/her advice.

I’ve been doing booster shots on occasion for the seven or so years I’ve been doing injections without any side effects.
Also on the rare occasion I miss with my first shot and get no erection progress after 15-20 minutes, I will repeat the injection.

I assume you're talking about losing your erection long before you should after injecting a dose of Trimix? It happened to me last week. I injected early in the morning at about 5am where I woke up early and wanted to hit that pussy before the kids woke up. We had great sex for about 20 minutes and then I came and that was all she wrote for my erection. I initially assumed it was my Trimix getting weak after traveling for a week on vacation going from cooler to hotel mini fridge to cooler etc... but my next dose I slightly increased it and I was good for about 4 hours even after cumming. Now I'm thinking it might have something to do with it being too early in the am for me?

Hank - I owe the board an update on my original "allergy" thread. After an allergist's controlled testing and some follow up work, it appears NOT to be an allergic reaction but probably a subdural alprostadil reaction. Alprostadil causes hemorrhage in non-venous tissue. Injected just below the skin in the forearm it causes severe bruising. I suspect I got two shallow injections and it caused the trauma.
Regarding the "booster shot": I have been fiddling with a new mix - 30-2-40 and boosting it up with some extra PGE to an equivalent of "70-100" PGE (@ 0.2 ml = 14-20 mcg PGE) and it is working great. Before Tri-Mix I was using 40 mcg Caverject. It seems the papavarine and phentolomine mediate the burn/ache from the PGE as well plus it's half the PGE dose that was effective. Needing the booster shot earlier was only for a weaker mix. Even at that, after 15-20 min there is a slight limping that is noticeable by the partner. I withdraw and fiddle a minute or two and it gets harder again, each time harder, bigger and goes longer. Yesterday had 5 "sessions" at an hour total with no problem. Wife was worn out - she freely orgases and was getting loopey. Also popping a 20mg Cialis or 50 mg Stendra (former leftovers) an hour before as suggested above but I'll experiment with stopping that.
