Pain With Edex

Had my 2nd injection and without brusing or hitting veins but results were dismal. Dose was 20 but all it achieved was a softy enlargement with an uncomfortable dull pain that persisted for about 4 hours. The pain was similar to my experience with VED bands that have been left on a little too long.
I'm definitely going to switch to Trimix on my next Uro. visit but in the mean time I have questions for the more experienced.
Does the pain ease with subsequent uses?
What is that pain? Plaque in the veins? Allergic reaction? Not working the meds in enough?
I can't see upping the dose to get results, Li'l Alfa was a bit sensitive to the touch for the 1st. hour.

Wish I could help but what I can pass on is my knowledge from use of Edex for 5 years. i have just never had pain from injecting Edex. Maybe a dull ache near the injection site 1 or 2 times and no post-injection pain. maybe just dumb luck but this is based on several hundred uses. I once, about 4 years ago had bruising. Looked bad but am not aware to this day what happened except I hit a blood vessel. it took care of itself in a week or so.
Most likely the cause of the pain is how and where you choose to inject. Or maybe you have an unusual amount of nerves along the sides of your penis.
After just 2 trials I would strongly recommend you don't try something new just yet. Give Edex a few more chances. The erections it supports are excellent, strong hard, very reliable, durable (my erection average is about 95%) and pleasurable. The shots are easy once you get them down pat.
Good luck!

I used Caverject (PGE1) for a year or so, about 80 jabs. 10 mcg was not effective, 20 mcg better but no brass ring, I had to go to 30-40 mcg to be effective for good hard prolonged sex. The problem was that the burn/ache was so bad no mater where I injected it even inhibited ejaculation. Many say PGE1 does that to them. Dunno why. I do not have plaques. I find I can use Tri-Mix with a much lower dose of PGE1 - the most active ingredient - in the 8-20 mcg range depending on desired outcome - and it does not burn/ache anywhere near as bad. And note that goosing up the amount of PGE1 in the syringe produces better results (harder and longer) but has for me more burn also.
Funny that papavarine by itself in a mix theraputic (30x0.2=6mg) does nothing to me, and phentolomine by itself in a mix theraputic dose (1x0.2=0.2mg) produces a 40% reaction, but the theraputic dose of PGE1 (40x0.2=8 mcg) produces an 80% reaction by itself. Must be some voodoo synergy with the three components.

Some men get ache type pain from the alprostadil that is intolerable. Some men get pain that moderates and becomes a non-issue after using it for awhile (I'm one of those). Some men never get the ache. So the answer is it might ease off to become a non-issue eventually but may not. Tri-mix may be the ticket for you, or even bi-mix. Have you tried adding a ring or pill to the program?

I've got 6 more trys.

Good solid info. Can hardly wait for trimix.

Maybe if trimix fails. I'm trying to avoid more chemicals and hardware as much as possible.
