Where Did The Medication Go

I did a my 6th Edex injection and this time I did not get the hours long slightly sore dick that I have been experiencing thus far.
Nor did I have, once again, the highly coveted boner.
I've been injecting in various spots on alternating sides hoping to finding the legendary 'sweet spot'. This time on the left @9:00 about an inch from the glans. Immediately afterwards I got a little, what I assumed, precum but it wasn't enough to account for the amount of Edex20 that I had just injected. No bumps, no bruising, no bleeding, no pain, no boner. What gives?

Yeah, it sounds like you missed. With me I know I need to be a little shallower when near the glans. You're still new at this so I'd suggest you stick to the more traditional locations initially. I'd also stick to the more traditional areas due to your use of the Edex cartridge because it's harder with those to determine if your in a sweet spot by plunger resistance. Good luck.

Dammit! I was hoping I was getting acclimated to Alprostadil. Yea that Edex contraption is on the bulky side. I have 2 more doses left. In a month I visit the uro and will switch to Trimix.

I had been using an autoinject and found it very difficult to use. The clinic said to inject 1 inch from the base. Unfortunately I have some Peyronies plaque near the base on top. On about my 5th injection I hit the plaque and the needle did not penetrate and injected just under the skin, which made a swollen black and blue mess. The area of the autoinject head makes it difficult to determine where it will inject. I got some 31 gauge 5/16 inch needle and manually inject now. I try to get a least a partial erection, pull the foreskin back as far as I can and inject about 1 inch from the head. This has worked well the 4 times I have used it. There is no pain and you can be certain that the needle is all the way in before injecting

I don't think you would have been any better off with a tri-mix miss.

I've been using Trimix for two years or so. I did try autoject but didn't like it, not as much control as using a syringe. As far as hitting the right spot the syringe makes it easier to find that spot and avoid veins. I inject half way between the gland and base and at the 10 and 2 oclock position. As the needle goes in you can feel it going in to the corpus cavernosum when it gets in I pull back on the plunger very slightly and if you see blood you are in the right spot. Take your time when pushing the needle in. Also look at a cross section diagram to get a better idea of where you need to inject. Good luck.

Except for the out of pocket cost.
I got over the needle phobia so I don't need the autoject but Edex comes with a clunky gadget that mixes the dry goodness with some sort of liquid. At least now I know where not to poke.
Another question is why it's not advised to use a VED after injection. I just had to have a nut after the injection boner fail and pumped. I didn't have any bleeding and Mrs. Alfa was perky the rest of the day.

Yeah, I agree, the Edex applicator does make the actual injection more difficult. Although I do love the shelf life of them. I don't use Edex now. I use an alprostadil mono-mix from a compounding pharmacy.

Alfa -- Ive got a little plaque as well. Found that if I press in more , pressing pretty hard sometimes, it will go through.. then i am in the cavernosum.
Then I found moving up just a little past the base , say mid way and defintely on the 130 and 1030 position I do
well everytime. I can feel it on a nerve alll the way to the head before I press the plunger. I am way too sensitive to
easily use a syringe in the upper region. I am using 1/2 inch syringe too btw.

Indeed, from some testing I did, injecting PGE into non-venous tissue CAUSES tissue hemorrhage and bruising. I got it too shallow twice and it really made a dark-red swollen-fat sore un-useful member.
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9971"Where it went?" is a mystery to me as you'd get some reaction somewhere unless it dribbled out the urethra which it did once for me early on.
