I can get the following:

CAVERJECT PWD 20UG KIT 5’S

Would this me their weird all in one unit you that you dial in, the dual impulse thing, or the powder you reconstitute yourself and use your own syringe to deliver?
Has anyone seen this description?

I could be totally wrong as I've never used any Caverject product. I used to use their competitor Edex. A very short Google search leads me the believe the following:

I believe it's the all in one being as they call it a kit. I'm not aware that Caverject provides the powder other than in that kit. I think the other option is a premixed solution in a vial.

So it's a powder but it's in a syringe and the other part of same syringe has the bac water and somehow we can get them to mix together?

I used Caverject before my first implant and I do not recommend it. It was painful and I actually believe that it causes trauma to your genitals. Worst thing I ever tried. Mine was already mixed in a vial. Never seen it in a powder form.

The majority of men do not find injecting alprostadil (what the caverject is) to be painful. Some that do find it painful find that the pain lessens or disappears after several uses. Most men do not have issues with damage caused to their genitals. Yes they have a kit consisting of a syringe containing the sterile water in one chamber and the dry powder in another. You push the plunger to combine the two. At least that's the way the Edex works. I assume the caverject works the same

In the UK Caverject in doses of 20mcg or less is supplied in a dual chamber syringe (dry powder / bacteriostatic water ). 40 mcg is supplied as a syringe containing bacteriostatic water and a vial containing dry powder. Both should be stored long term in a refrigerator but are stable at room temperature for shorter periods. Studies have shown that scarring is less likely with Alprostadil ( Caverject/Edex/Viridal ) alone than with injections containing Papaverine ( Trimix/Bimix ).

On a Caveject pre-prepared syringe, you turn the plunger assembly in barrel to inject and mix the water with the powder, gently shake to mix, then push the plunger to get out the air, then you can turn the barrel to the desired dose in the window. On a 20 mcg syringe it is a 5, 10, 15 or 20 mcg dose. I find alprostadil burns whether in Caverject, in a vial (I have some 60 mcg/ml vials), or in Tri-Mix. I have fond that papavarine and phentolamine does not burn me. The burn can be so bad that if I use it more than once a week, which I have for good stretches at 2-3 times a week, I get anorgasmia. Hope that helps.

Yes it does and thank you. For a first time user, I presume you would recommend the 5 mcg dose? I'm 6'1 210lbs.

Most Urologists would start you with 5mcg and check the response gradually working up the dose ( at least 24 hours apart ) until you have a firm erection lasting no longer than one hour. We are all different in the amount required. Initially I needed about 23 or 24mcg for a good result. However as time passed I needed to increase the dose until after 5 years even 40mcg was not working as well or giving me a good duration. Since I am sure my problems stem from diabetes ( type 2 ) and venous leak an implant was then the solution. Those with ED from prostatectomy may find smaller doses are effective. Trimix is not available in UK so I have no experience of that medication. I was fortunate not to experience pain from PGE1 ( Caverject/Edex/Viridal are all PGE1 / Alprostadil ) and, after 5 years have no scarring or plaque.

You really should have a medical professional show you how (in office) on the first dose and determine initial dosing. I didn't, but it should have been done that way. It would have saved me some time and aggravation. Talk to your doctor. Otherwise, what Bluewhippet said sounded good to me.
