I am about to refill a trimix script and seeing the urologist the end of the month. I been injecting with little success. Finally last week after taking 70 units and a 100 mg of viagra I was able to get a strong enough erection to have intercourse. Usually it is insufficient for intercourse. It’s been a long time. I am going to ask my urologist for a stronger mix, I spoke to the compounding pharmacist and he said the mix is plenty strong enough and aid the problem is not injecting correctly. That at 70 units plus viagra I should have been in hospital being deflated. My mix is 30-20-1. My questions are.
What is the next higher dose?
If injecting too deep wouldn’t the injection just go to the other side? I go in at a right angle at 9 o’clock position. I can feel the needle penetrate the tough wall and release it. 50-60 units plump it up but not enough for penetration. If I am getting some benefits from the injection does it make sense I am not getting the right spot?

My last injection should have given Dumbo a hardon.
I got pain and a plumpy. If I tried 100mg Viagra, my BP would get so low I would probably pass out.
I injected 100 units of the strongest mix I could get. 120 of the PGE-1 I think.

At 70 units, 0.7ml, you will be burning through a 2.5ml vial pretty quickly and costs will be high. A 30-1-20 mix is typically a starter mix and works for many but some need stronger. I am using 0.3ml (30 units) of a 30-2-40 mix. Some use 70 PGE and some even 100 PGE but typically use a much lower dose too. If you are burning through 70 units each time, I'd talk to my Uro about a stronger mix for sure. Using it with 100 mg of Viagra is pretty stout. Some other guys here mix the two. I can get by with a lower dose of Tri-Mix if I use a 20 mg Cialis and it has the added benefit of providing sleeping and morning wood.

If you have not had the learning experience of having a trial injection given by your uro or his/her nurse, you should request it. That way you'll know how it's done properly and you'll be able to relieve any uncertainty about whether you're using proper technique.

It's important to get that variable out of the way. Once you KNOW that you're injecting properly, you can have a more rational conversation with your doc about what happens next.

My personal feeling is that it's negligent for a doc to not provide a hands-on injection lesson before sending a guy home with a prescription vial and a bag of syringes.

What size syringes are you using? Get 5/16" long syringes and bury it all the way in. Should be the ideal depth! Sounds like you could get a stronger script though. Mine is 40/30/1 and 3 or 4 units(a few drops) gets the job done for me but so does 50mg of Viagra on an empty stomach but it's not the same experience.
