Hi All,

I've been injecting for approx 1 year, and must confess it's always on one side. I don't think this has caused my any issues yet. I did try it on my left side once and it just wouldn't budge, that kind of put me off. I don't want to get complacent. I am injecting my right mid shaft 1-2 times per week. I understand some get scar tissue - what and why does that come about?

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Always read my posts with a health dose of skepticism.

Every time you inject you're causing a tiny injury that heals resulting in tiny bits of scaring. If you continue to inject in exactly the same place I would expect it to accumulate. You need to learn to move around a some. When it wouldn't budge on the left side you weren't in the correct spot, probably at the wrong depth.

Thanks. Now I think about it I can't recall if it was the needle not penetrating in the first place or if it was the syringe that didn't budge. I will try again!
