Question about between U-40 and U-100 syringes

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie of this forum.

I got Trimix supplies by FedEx service my doctor ordered it for me for the first time. I was asked to buy and bring some insulin syringes to his office for training. There are two different syringes in U-40 and U-100. I have researched online about how to read the syringe’s markings and I do not quite understand it.

The script that came with Trimix supplies said to use 0.2 ml per corpora. How many units is equal to 0.2 ml? Which one is a correct syringe size?

Oh! I forgot to mention what formula is my Trimix in my recent posting:

Prostaglandin 20mcg, Papaverine 30mg, Phentolamine 2mg, ml

Buy U-100 syringes. I wouldn't get larger than 1/2ml (50 Unit) syringes. I use 30 unit syringes. The syringes are usually pretty cheap so if you end up needing larger syringes you won't be out much. The U-40 are, to my understanding, generally used for pet meds. Your doctor will tell you how much to use. Don't use more than directed. Many guys start out with a weaker mix than what you were given. I believe the .2ml will be 20 units in a U-100 syringe. Write your questions down and ask your doctor. I'm not a doctor.
