I am looking for some advice. Basically, I am 28 years old and suffer from severe sexual performance anxiety. I have met a new girl who I am really into and find extremely attractive. When we were going to hookup I was so worried about getting hard (because I’ve had a few issues in the past) which led to…not getting an erection, or even close, I couldn’t even really think about it. Complete fight or flight response! I had also taken a high dose of Cialis to which normally works. We just ended up talking all night instead and arranged to meet again soon.
A legitimate online doctor prescribed me caverject (2 of the 20mcg dual chamber), and I was wondering if it is likely a low dose will work, given that I can obtain normal erections when alone? As this is purely an anxiety issue, I was pondering whether the reason for ED will affect the efficacy of the injection. I only plan on using it once or twice, as then at least I won’t have to worry about getting an erection and will feel more confident for our future liaisons. Obviously I want to avoid priapism, and I have pseudoephedrine and a cold compress ready, and will do some cardio afterwards also.. I also don’t want to waste the injections, because it’s quite expensive and can only be used once whatever dose is used.

Re: Caverject for performance anxiety related ED
10mcg max! 5mcg should be sweet. Nothing worse then nursing a secret boner all night, if you do go sleep set a alarm clock to wake up after 4 hours an make sure it’s a semi before you go back to sleep! Good luck youth
Get some 29G needles and split 20mcg into 4, keep them in the fridge

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences at best and delusions or hallucinations at worst. Internet forum advice is often worth what you pay for it. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.
I have absolutely no idea if using injections to treat performance anxiety ED is a good idea or not. I believe the injections are low risk but they certainly aren't no risk.
Are there truly legitimate online doctors? I wouldn't know. Just wondering!
There is no substitute for diagnosis by interested, competent, unbiased, professional medical practitioners which include psychological and physiological professionals.
For performance anxiety, I wouldn't have any idea what your starting dosage with Caverject 20s should be. For that matter, not being a medical professional, I wouldn't know what your starting dosage should be in any situation. I would imagine you could get by with considerably less than a full dose of a Caverject 20. Unfortunately they are expensive and aren't designed for the rest of the medication to be used later. What did the "online doctor" recommend? My suggestions here, which I definitely won't make, would involve a bit more experience with these types injections, other small conventional insulin syringes and violating your instructions and the intent and design of the prescribed Caverject cartridges. Never forget that when messing with your most precious body part that caution trumps any monetary savings or temporary pleasure.
Pseudoephedrine or other treatments for priapism, short of a timely ER visit, are not guarantees of a successful remedy. They may help.
Find a doctor(s) you can have a personal relationship(s) with.
I'm sorry I wasn't more helpful.
Good luck.
Edit to add: Patrick posted after I'd started my post but I delayed finishing and posting. Meanwhile he posted. I won't disagree with his first paragraph. I won't endorse his final line but it may be related to something I also alluded to but am too cautious to suggest.

Re: Caverject for performance anxiety related ED
Thanks for the replies both, really appreciated!
I'm not sure how easy it would be to split the dual chamber device as it's an all in one contraption rather than vials!
Yeah, they are legitimate doctors. I am in the UK and these are GMC registered NHS GPs (the site also advertises on daytime TV, and dispenses NHS prescriptions etc). I am slightly surprised that they agreed to prescribe this to be honest.. I haven't received it yet, it should arrive tomorrow according to the tracking. No official dosing info has been given so far (though it could be included with the package).
Maybe this isn't such a good idea.. I'm fine with the injection part - I've given plenty of injections to patients in awkward places (med student), but the thought of any permanent damage down there really scares me, as does having to have a large number of needles inserted in A&E!
Are there any other meds that could work in a similar way, if Cialis and the likes are ineffective? I did look at Muse, but I am not sure how effective it is?
Anything to reduce anxiety seems to have ED as a side effect Oral phentolamine sounded promising (as it would reduce the effects of adrenaline) but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I'm seeing my GP next week to ask if I can be referred for therapy to deal with it from that perspective, but I can see it being a long process! I just wish I was normal.

Were I to attempt such an off label procedure, which I would never do, and not knowing what harm or danger it could entail, I would:
Assemble the cartridge and mix the components. Then remove the micro needle unit, re-exposing the rubber seal. I would then take my previously acquired 29 to 31 gauge insulin syringes (.3 to .5 cc), insert the needles through the rubber seal and draw out the desired amount into the syringes. Then I would probably freeze the filled syringes that aren't immediately used as re-hydrated alprostadil has a short shelf life. You are not supposed to do this! I have no experience with the Caverject brand and I have no idea how it would react to freezing.

I’ve found nothing does the trick like injections, depends how much time you have to piss about? Sounds like its time to say goodbye mr nice guy and fuck that bitch to sleep?
The above stated method works but the new needles loose their sharp point passing through the tough rubber bung. Better if you can squirt your desired amount into a sterile veil/spoon. Then suck it up with your new syringe and if you feel like a smack heed out of Train Spotting, that’s when you know your doing it correctly.

Re: Caverject for performance anxiety related ED
It really is not a difficult problem. Just get some 1/2 inch 30g single use insulin syringes. A sharp pull will remove the plunger. Squirt the required quantity of Caverject ( I would suggest starting with no more than 5 mcg - 25 units from the 20 mcg Caverject syringe) reinsert the plunger, tap the syringe and expel the air. Store in fridge for short periods (1 - 2 weeks ) freeze for longer periods. I know it works I used to do this when injections still worked.

Might I suggest giving oral to your girl to break the ice. You might want to be honest with her and tell her you get nervous about intercourse. Hopefully allowing the relationship to move along a bit slower will get you to where you both want to be. Then if you feel you need to try the caverject let her in on the 'experiment'. If she's the one it could be quite fulfilling. Chances are she'd be relieved it wasn't her but just a case of nerves.

I had "severe" performance anxiety to the point that 200mg of Viagra did virtually nothing. Injections saved my sex life and do not hurt. 2 hour rock hard erections even without the need for stimulation. Its feeels soooooo amazing to be able to have sex with zero fears and your lady will love it. Use this new found erection to try new positions and have sex 2-3 times before it finally goes away.

Re: Caverject for performance anxiety related ED
If Cialis fails you should try the other types of PDE5i's, I found Viagra much better than Cialis but others found differently.
My biggest worry for you would be priapism, you are a med student, you should understand what that is and the risks.
I personally found injections have been amazing because I can focus on making out and not worry about EQ.
Injections can cause anaorgasmia and some women don't like that they can't get you off.
Also, some women don't like sex to go too long, others love it, but take care not to ruin it for her just because you have an hour long boner.
