New to Trimix
Guys, this week my Uro prescribed me trimix. I wink have not tried it until this Thursday when I have another appointment with my Uro. Pills having worked in a year so this is the next step. I have High BP, i'm Type 2, High Cholesterol and overweight. My question is there any recommendation because i'm kinda scared of poking my penis. Is there any concern I should be aware of? My loving wife is very supportive, just that I fear of putting a needle in my dick. Thanks

Thanks Bldoink
I ran across this forum, looking to educate me on what was the next step. My Uro is very knowledgeable and ensured me that it wasn't a big deal. I will being more educated once I start using the Trim-mix. Just a whole bunch of questions... Thanks

You've come to the right place. My wife is tired of hearing me rave about this forum.
As always, bldoink hits the right spot (pun intended)!
I've been on the Trimix journey for about a year and a half now. Still working to get the right mix, but it does work. When it didn't, it was because I didn't take the time to inject correctly. That is paramount to getting it to work, maybe more than the formula itself, IMHO.

ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.

Re: New to Trimix
Just received my 1st RX, going in tomorrow (Thursday) for my first dose with my URO. My Rx contains: Prostaglandin 30MCG/ML, Papaverine 30MG/ML, Phentolamine 0.2MG/ML and Alprostadil. My question is that a OK dose for a person who is just starting with TriMix?

Re: New to Trimix
The combination you listed puzzles me a bit. First, prostaglandin and alprostadil are the same thing so I don't understand why both are listed. Second, the ratios of the quantities are somewhat different than the various Trimixs I have used. I usually think of the combination in the order of papeverine (in mg/mL), phentolamine (in mg/mL) and PGE-1 (in micrograms/mL). I started with 30-1-10, then moved to 30-2-20 and I am now using 30-5-50. The reason the first number is always 30 is because that is the maximum amount that will dissolve in the water. In my way of writing things, your mix would be 30-0.2-30 which is somewhat low on the phentolamine. Of course, the real determination is how much you inject. For me, using 30-5-50, 8 units does a good job. (In case you haven't run across units, 100 units is one milliliter). How much does your urologist suggest you inject?
