So i buy one thinking better and more accurate then the slam it in unit. Loaded it up and feel stupid i get nervous sweaty i dont expect any pain but keep readjusting looking in mirror. Too low? To close to vien ? Second guessing pull the trigger then meet lots of resistance pushing plunger . maybe wrong spot not deep enough ? But wait drop of blood doesnt that mean right spot??0

My personal experience has been that if you have a lot of plunger resistance you are not positioned correctly, regardless of blood drop.
This is from the Edex Full Prescribing Information sheet (insert) which includes injection instructions towards the bottom:
http://www.endo.com/File%20Library/Products/Prescribing%20Information/edex_prescribing_information.html 16. Hold the injection device as shown in Figure M. Do not touch the plunger at this time. Position the needle horizontally and gently insert the needle into the selected injection site until the needle is almost completely inserted into the penis (Figure M). Now place your thumb on the plunger and inject the solution slowly over a period of 5 to 10 seconds (Figure N).
17. If the solution does not inject easily, or if you immediately experience a burning pain at the injection site, reposition the needle by advancing it slightly or by partially withdrawing it until the solution can be injected easily and painlessly.
I should note that the Edex kits come with 1/2" needles,
if I recall correctly.

I own all the auto injectors but finally gave up and just went manual. Much better control that way. I switched to a shorter needle to help with the visual aspect. Then I stared using either a cooling spray (Biofreeze) or a numbing ice cube to eliminate the initial "pinch."
I apply the spray or numb with the ice cube. Then I touch the tip of the needle against the injection spot. Then I just push it in. No pain, and the best precision possible.
That's a lot coming from me because I aboslutely hate needles of all kind.
Hope this helps a little.
