I am slightly worried about long term ramifications of using injections as I am only 32 years old. Surely my odds of scar tissue or peyronies is high is I use them for 10-40 years. Anyone else worried about this?

I do not know the statistical probability that patients using injections will develop Peyronie's disease. I think that's a question for your urologist.

What I do know is that injecting happy juice into my favorite body part is a less invasive procedure than sawing on said body part with sharp knives and inserting foreign objects into my penis and scrotum. Generally speaking, less invasive makes more sense that more invasive.

I also know that injecting my penis with chemicals gives me an erection that could be described as "19 years old without the stupid". That is certainly worth some level of risk, especially given the alternative. A limp dick is no fun, as I'm sure you would agree.

I do not mean to describe the implant process as something horrible; if and when injections stop working--for whatever reason, including Peyronie's--for me, I'll be getting measured for an implant.

Final note, my favorite uncle developed Peyronie's in his mid seventies and has enjoyed his implant for almost 15 years.

If you were my son or grandson, I'd advise you to postpone consideration of an implant as long as a injections work. The implant is always an option, and it stands to reason that they will only get better and better as the science improves.

Good post antelope (other than being a double post ).

I started using injections at 61 and used them for 12 straight years without any problems until they just stopped working for me. I loved the way they worked, just like getting a normal hard on, plus over the years of use, I gained an inch, 6.5", in girth. Sorry to say that I lost that "gained" girth with my implant, now back to my 5.5", but as far as any problems with the injections I had none. Stay with them for as long as they work for you but know that when injections stop working you have one last "fix" that for me and many other guys works well, gives you a bigger flaccid dick, and you can be hard anytime and for as long as you want!
