I'm grateful to those of you that I've shared this journey with and that have responded back. So far--------I've shot up 3 times on my own at home. The first time was a nice success, alprostadil, .75 CC. The boner was hard, and I did get in the lady, and get off, but the bone went away almost immediately after.
The 2nd try got a little bit of hardness, maybe half. I did not attempt to have sex with that try, too limp even though it was obvious the drug had gotten in at least a little bit.
Today, it was back to good hard and some good sex for awhile. I shot a load of .75 of the 100 octane joy juice, bang---good hard almost within 4 or 5 minutes. It felt like a million getting into that sweet vagina. But after about 5 minutes of nice deliberate thrusting it started fading away again. This time I did not get off.

Was wondering, is it more likely I've got the venous leak? or perhaps do I need a little bit stiffer dose of alprostadil? I got .5 cc at uros first time, he looked and said I want you to go .75 next time and try that. The quality is good with the75 cc, but the duration is not good. I fear the ER trip, but want a longer duration. What's your thoughts? I go back to uro in 5 weeks, I could continue with this till then, or be bold and up the dose just a bit. Let me know what you think. It doesn't seem like a huge risk to up the dose to .85, or .90, or even a full CC, but maybe I am not being cautious enough here.

Seems that .75 cc (75 units ?) is a high dose but since you have a duration issue, I would try .85 or .9 on the next try. If you get similar results, you should request a Doppler Ultrasound from your Uro to check for a venous leak. I am not familiar with Asprostadil, but if it works like Trimix, the hard erection should not fade quickly.

It sounds like venous leak. The dopplar ultrasound is good advice. 0.75 cc is a lot. If it shows no leak, then I would try Trimix, which adds two compounds (see my signature below). In the meantime, I wouldn't think you have too much danger of exceeding a 4-hour erection by escalating the dose 0.05cc at a time, (but don't inject more than once in 24 to 48 hour period!!)

DT & Julios, thanks for the time. I'll let you know as things change or get better.

After Viagra gradually stopped working for me over the past couple of years, I started out with Bimix, which worked fine (with increasing dosages for about four months). Then it suddenly stopped working. My uro then switched me to Trimix, which had absolutely NO effect on me. I wound up bruising my penis very badly with one shot (apparently his an internal blood vessel). My uro said the bruising was nothing to worry about, but it led to Peyronies.

I'm 64 years old, and looking to have an implant as soon as I can schedule it with Dr. Milam.
