getting the TriMix formula from a men's "clinic"

Posted earlier as an introduction--as I learn more about Tri Mix--more questions
I went to one of the many "men's ED clinic's" that promote on radio/TV etc. I paid $300 for 12 injections after receiving the "test" dose in the "clinic" office. I then walked out with 2 of my 12 injections/syringes to try. Did the first injection and found it wasn't strong enough--really--no better than a strong dose of viagra --I then wasted the second injection (didn't operate the ejector thing properly)
Just called the clinic to request an adjustment on my nex\t dose--I am to pick that up tomorrow and try it again
In that call--I asked clinic guy for the exact formulation--%ages of each of the three drug elements that combine for Tri Mix
As feared--I got the yada yada that they typically "can't" give that out as it's only for the DR's. Of course, they realize what most folks do--(shop the formulation and buy it cheaper elsewhere once my 10 shots are used up--the ones I paid $300 for.
So-if I can't get the script--formula--even though I eventually get to my optimum dose--I fear I"m locked into these guys or else I'm starting over with someone else
Am sure other newbies have run into this situation and wondering what they did to get the formulation---so they could be mobile and find a better deal.
thanks Dave

I had something similar happen to me. Uro’s Office selling me 5ml of TriMix for $250. I called in and said I needed them to send the script to a compounding pharmacy. The receptionist said “we don’t do that”. At my next appointment I told my uro I wasn’t going to be buying from him directly, I just needed the new script as I would be getting it filled elsewhere. He gave the script. I had it filled for $130 for 10ml.

When you go in for your next appointment you can do the same thing. If they refuse you SHOULD go somewhere else. That’s sketchy on their part to demand that you only buy through them for a big markup.

What is in the TriMix is NOT a trade secret and you have every right to know EXACTLY what you are injecting into your body.

Let us know what happens.

My problem is likely to be that I bought this from one of these "men's ED clinics" that are all over the place--the ones that advertise on radio all the time
They are legitimate--but seem shady and amateurish. I was hustling to get ramped up on this stuff (my first try) for a younger gal I've started seeing--so I figured $300 for 12 injections wasn't a big risk. BUT--now that I've learned--I "fear" that once we go through the discovery process of finding the correct formulation--they won't provide the exact script (for obvious reasons)--
I wonder if legally they are required to provide it--I would think that they would be but not sure
They of course have a DR on staff--but it's a guy you never see--(unless you specifically request)--I have talked to the guy once
Maybe I'll do another post on this very subject--"does the law require these type DR's to share the prescription"?

Cut bait and seek out either a GP who will either write a script or refer you to a Uro that will. Now that you have a history of using Trimix a GP shouldn't be so reluctant to prescribe. You know the formulation and if you need a stronger mix they're likely to consult the compounding pharmacy. In addition look for a Sterile compounding pharmacy. Just plain compounding pharmacies wont do Trimix. When I first tried out the injection route I tried Edex20. 4 doses cost me ~$400!

thanks but at this point I don't know the formulation (read my posts). That's my problem.
Guess I'll have to press the issue -- again--are these people required to provide me the prescription/formulation? They are resisting it--but I haven't pressed them

Well if its about your 300 then dont be surprised if a uro charges you 800 but gives script i had 3 appointments before i got the script and these 3 cost me 850.
