lawful for ED clinic to withhold Tri Mix prescription?

Postby sommers » Fri Sep 27, 2019 7:55 am

I got started with a local ED clinic (one of those that advertises a lot on radio)--paid $300 for 10 injections plus 2 "free" trials (after office test dose visit to analyze my sensitivity)
So-I'm actually paying $30 per dose--As I've learned here--they are way over priced. My plan was to invest $300 to see if this was for me
They have given me nothing with the specific formula and when I called to ask about that--they were resistant--so I think I may have a problem--if I insist.
Thus--I'd waste time and $ getting to my ideal dose--only to have to start over elsewhere.
So again---Is there anything in the law that forces a DR to provide the exact formula/prescription to a patient? (I'd think there is)--it's obviously unethical not to--but I am thinking these guys aren't all that ethical

sommers, I wouldn't even know where to start, who you could ask. If a clinic, I would think there is some one above/governing their daily activities. Good Luck in getting what you were promised.

Whether it is legal or not is irrelevant. You aren’t going to bother to fight them if they refuse. You probably have too many other things to do.

But go in person, ask for it. If they give it to you great. If they refuse, move on and don’t look back.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.

Cut your losses. Sounds like a shady outfit. Get a referral from your PCP to see a reputable urologist. He/She may want to start you on oral meds first, but if you tell them that they are not effective or too costly you should be able to get a script for trimix. The doc will probably have a preferred compounding pharmacy.

I have Diabetes and Viagra was not effective. My Uro was going to try Cialis, but i just said I'd rather have Trimix because of cost and efficacy. He agreed.
Age: 39, Diabetic (well controlled) HBP (since teens, less well controlled, but ok),
mild ED for 3 years, l arginine l citrulline and norvaline (amino acid stack) helped.
Pills: ineffective. Started trimix: 6/24/18, EXTREMELY effective.

Go see a Urologist that specializes in ED. Those clinics that advertise are about as credible as Jim and Tammy Fay were. It isn’t that expensive for the prescription. I’m implanted now but started on Bimix and went all the way up to quadmix over a 10 year period.
