Thank god for compounding pharmacies. I’m glad they exist so I can get my TriMix. But apparently they are very poorly regulated with very little oversight. People are getting hurt as a result at times.
I’m not sure how to pick a good one but this piece on John Oliver’s “This Week Tonight” was an eye opener.

The risks of compounding pharmacies.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.
Re: The risks of compounding pharmacies.
The dangers are way overblown. The vast majority of compounding pharmacies are safe and follow safe practices. Every so often a story like this comes out. And it is usually because of two main reasons. One, it makes a great sensationalized fear mongering story. Two, and this is the big one, compounding pharmacies make drugs and hormone treatments that are off lable and not patentable or regulatable.
Big pharma HATES this. It means that you can have cheap effective treatment without them. And so they like to try and sic the FDA on compounding pharmacies every so often. I am all for regulation, but the FDA is one of the most corrupt regulatory bodies in the US government. It's a revolving door of food and drug lobbiests. And has an unhealthy relationship with the DEA.
Let's remember that these are the same people that want to irradiate your meat and eliminate bio-identical hormone therapy in order to force artificial (patentable) hormone therapy at greater cost.
