Trimix 3 vs. Trimix 4

OK.....I need some help here.
Was using Trimix 3 - 30/2/20......5.0 Units Results - Things were going fine or should I say better then OK. Using a few months....Jun - Aug.

Talked to DR. Thought I could increase the FUEL to lower cost per injection, so she did. Increased to Trimix 4 - 40/3/4. Bad idea. Used Aug - Dec. Not working as should.

Trimix 30/2/20 versus Trimix 40/3/40

The 40/3/40 doesn't respond as good....tried 3.0 Units then increased to 5.0 Units. Either it's like over kill. Only get about 75 - 80 percent results. Penis is usually sore from over drugged or something....fatigued muscle or something like that. Neither 3.0 or 5.0 Units of Trimix 4 work as good as Trimix 3.

So my next appointment with Dr.....Will go back to old formula. Seems Trimix 3 works much better then Trimix 4. So let me ask......Is this in my mind or something chemical?

I prefer the Pump in-between weeks. Only use injection for a week at a time in either case. Help before I go to the Dr.
Thanks....

This is the best description of the interactions of the different tri-mix ingredients I've seen. It's put out by Wedgewood Pharmacy. I have no connection or experience with Wedgewood Pharmacy:

http://www.wedgewoodpharmacy.com/uploads/ED%20Switching%20Guide.pdf

There doesn't seem to be any standardization of "standard" mixes between the various pharmacies. Some don't even have standard mixes and just make whatever the doctor prescribes. Some just offer their own "standard" mixes.

Figuring out Tri-mix or Quad-mix, etc., formulas sometimes seems more akin to alchemy than medicine.

Good luck.

Well, I went back to the Trimix 3, lower fuel, and it works fine. The Trimix 4 was just junk. Like a heavy drug or something. Must be something with a higher number. Plus found out something else new.....Trimix is only good for about 2 months. After 2 months, the potency is greatly reduced. This is according to the Compound pharmacist. It doesn't matter if frozen or refrig. I thought the life cycle was longer than that. Still all in all, I think the pump is a better alternative. But that's just my opinion. No pricks.....no ER concerns.....and easy portable with traveling. My UR only recommends using Trimix only max 3 times a week, at tops. Preferably twice a week. So I interchange the Trimix with the Pump, on odd days. So life is good with both.

My latest Trimix is called Trimix 2 but it has the same 30-2-20 as your Trimix 3. I started at prescribed 35 units but sweet spot is 50 and am perplexed as to why you went to Trimix 4 when only taking 5 units and weren't fully satisfied. There was lots of room to go up in units. Did you not try 15, 20, 30 units etc... before jumping to Trimix 4?

By the way, my uro skips the 30 and 40mcg Trimix after #2 and goes straight to Super Trimix with 50mcg of PGE.
