Suggestions for getting my script refilled?

Hey guys,

I have been using Trimix for about 15 years. I started off with Boston Medical Group and switched to a local urologist in ~2008. My current problem is that I am out of refill's and am due my bi-yearly office visit before the script can be refilled. Unfortunately the quickest they can get me in is Mid March unless someone cancels...

With that said, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this refilled faster?

I think I would call back to the doctor who prescribed the trimix and ask him if he could refill it contingent on the fact that you made an appt to see him but soonest he can see you is March. He should know you don't want wait until march to have sex again. I certainly think that is reasonable! Its worth a try!

When I’ve been in situations like that you describe, I usually communicate with the doctor via e mail (the hospital he is affiliated with has a patient-to-doctor portal) and tell him the truth. I’m out of trimix. I’m due to come in for my twice yearly appointment but not til March. Can you call in at least a partial refill to get me to our scheduled appointment date?

Trimix isn’t exactly a controlled or schedule medication. You’re not asking for Percocet or Xanax. I can’t speak for your doctor but I can’t imagine any of mine saying no if I am acting in good faith and have a future appointment date set

Often if a script needs to be refilled the pharmacy will call the doctors office for you and request a renewal. You might try that first.

I found myself in asia with my 6ml of a trimix too weak for me i asked the pharmacy in arizona and they called and got the doctor to upgrade my mix and then shipped it to me great service
