Newbie to forum. Bad heart much of my adult life but it hasn’t stopped me from a very adventurous life anyhow. I first took caverject in 1997 Age 39 and found it very effective but somewhat painful and inconvenient and then viagra came out rendering injection unneeded. Finding generic 20mg Revatio not terribly effective anymore I decided to try Trimix. I went online and found a pharmacy that appears to pay google the most since they dominate search returns and called them..online doctor and 1200 bucks later I had five vials of 5ml each trimix in this formulation... PAP30 PHE3 PGE40

Instructed to take .25 ml I erred on caution and took half...after a few doses I settled on .20-.22 ml as perfect and it gave me a bounce off my lower abdomen erection that was simply amazing...my wife was like it feels like she’s in high school in the back seat again ..she loved it I can’t lie.I think men here know what I mean. ..mildly painful erection nothing I couldn’t tolerate really without noticing honestly....much less painful than the caverject in 1997 had been.

I didn’t read the instructions well and simply put them in the fridge instead of freezing it and even left a vial in my cabinet a week or two. After about 17 months of twice to thrice weekly use I noticed it begin to weaken slowly and I was running out ...I was taking 30-35 ml then and still working great.
So I ordered a new batch. I was thrilled. Until I tried it. Man...painful...and at .25 nothing...mild erection ..just worthless. The then 18 month original trimix in the same mix strength was better...I used my last doses of the old stuff and tried the new stuff at the same higher dose as the old and it performed not even half as good but more painful...bend to one side and throb but not erect ..
So I called the pharmacy. I wouldn’t say they were uncooperative but they insisted this new batch was the same and they dragged their feet a bit and insisted maybe I was injecting wrong even if injected satisfactorily 17 months already...Eventually a month or two later when I had used every drop of the old original 17 month old mix up they agreed to send me double strength and double volume for same price. I agreed which was pretty poor negotiating by me admittedly so for yet another 1200 bucks this time I got 5/10 ml vials of PAP30 PHE2 PHE80 and told to take .50 ml per shot
Excitedly last week I tried it and the same damn result and pain on a level that makes it not worth it....I mean painful as in it hurts like hell and a 6 out of ten erection that is poor for coitus
So I’m left wondering what the hell. The first batch worked great even at the end of it and surpassed the new second batch and then this last batch is as ineffective as the second even though stronger X2
It’s simply not a coincidence this trimix quit working with a new batch.
What a waste of money....the price of a used quad for deer camp pretty much or a short beach vacation.its frustrating ....has this happened to anyone else....one of my closest pals is a sole practitioner druggist and he told me this PGE is so pricey and folks can mess up a mix or buy a weak lot and pass it on. Erectile dysfunction medicine being what it is. Shady in some quarters..Lots of charlatans. I’m in middle Tennessee and I went to a local erectile specialty firm here two decades ago for the caverject and they struck me as well...gamers no offense. Should I try another pharmacy. My wife said you know this is a racket when they make you buy so much at a time. Why not just a couple hundred bucks worth to check it first.
Any help anyone here can give would be so appreciated. Sex is a lynchpin of my life and my marriage to my beautiful 50 year old wife who’s simply so adorable still to me. Yoga instructor and former CMT video babe ...I feel like I wake up with POTM every morning. Born with a bad heart but last year had a major intervention procedure in Chicago called CTO PCI which brought my EF back up to 65.
Will a pharmacy sell a weak batch of Prostaglandin?
Or is it another factor in the mix

I think you need a script.and use a different pharmacy i.use community clinical in phoenix not.the cheapest.but very consitent i use 45/1/27. Close to your old mix i pay 300 for 12. O e mil powdered vials. Very good customer service

Yes absolutely. There are big differences in their understanding of these mixes and in their quality control etc. Message me. When I used Trimix, I got connected with the guy who was one of the pioneers of bringing Trimix to market decades ago, a PharmD. His company is extremely knowledgeable as a result and their quality is top notch. Pricing is more than fair. They know what they're doing.

I'm doubting that there are BIG differences. I've used two different compounders and have had excellent results. Others have re-invented the wheel with great success.

That's good. Simply my personal experience but based in unfortunate fact. When I started and was with another compounder there was an occasion where a mix I was on and very familiar with suddenly upon refill didn't work at all and in the end though the label stated the correct mix of the three constituent drugs, they had in fact not blended the prostaglandin in. By their admission. And this was a supposedly reputable compounder. So experience and attention to detail matter and they're just not all created equal, any more so than the urologists are all on par.

That doesn’t explain why the old original mix that was 18 months old worked better than the mixes and at lower dosage.
One week an 18 month old mix works at .30-35ml works good and a few days later a fresh mix same strength arrives and doesn’t work..not even at higher doses. And then another two months later a higher strength mix same thing.

Can venous leakage occur basically overnight? I honestly don’t know.

I do know the new stuff feels much different than the first batch so I’m suspicious something is amiss

I think they could be bullshitting the op i find it hard to beleive they doubled the mix and maybe like paint they took a 10ml batch and made it 20ml and i was told many pharmacy buy their stock and keep it on shelf 1 year we assum its fresh but is it..

Say what you will but, in my opinion compounds do vary, and if your dosage is low, say 10 units for example. One drop difference in papaverine plus a newly mixed prescription versus thirty a day old vial can give a hell of a diference in response. Just saying, can't prove it but believe it'100%. Had it
happen. my advice,is especially is if you require a low dose, when starting a new vial reduce dosage on the first injection. This is for trimix.Caverject does not change unless it's been stored in high summer temperatures.
