Is it the Pharmacy?

Hey Thrill Seekers,
Been using trimix successfully for 6 years after cancer surgery. My regular pharmacy has gotten a bit sketchy and let me know they were out of one of the ingredients until MAY. Yeah...not jazzed about waiting 3 months to have sex again. So...there is another pharmacy in town so I went there.

First injection from the new batch I blamed on a bad injection. No erection, a fair amount of pain, and lots and lots of bruising the next day. So I must have punctured something. I did that once before (in 6 years...not so bad).

So today I injected on the other side. I"m not a jab it in kinda user and slip it in slowly. There are times when I just can't seem to get full penetration with the needle, and today was one of those. I was within a few MM so went ahead and injected.

Felt like I was going to get the expected erection, but it turned out to be just pain. Even when my wife touched me it was just too uncomfortable to try to sell it as "I love this plan, I"m thrilled to be a part of it."

I know that some guys react badly to one of the ingredients in TriMix and that Pain is the symptom. So..do you think this new pharmacy just botched the mix? It's painful enough that I'm not all that excited to blame failure #2 on another bad injection (I do have 6 years of experience and success).

Share your thoughts,

I have only used two pharmacies and have been injecting trimix for about a year now. So far, I have had maybe 3 failures and I chalk them up to being caused by me. The only "pain" I have had is a throbbing in the head of my cock when I used the dose the uro started me out with (20 units). I have since found that 15 units give me a 2 hour erection with no throbbing and 10 units give me an hour to hour and a half. As for bruising, I have only had that happen twice. Both times the bruise was about the size of a quarter and went away in about 3-4 days.

It is possible there was a mixup with your RX by the pharmacy, but due to the cost of the stuff, I would give it another couple tries. If you still have problems I would take what you have left and either go to the pharmacy if that is possible or if not, call them and explain the issues. They probably could take a very small sample, test it and see if you are not getting what you were prescribed.

It sounds like you've had 2 injections that were off due to technique. The second sounds like you ran into a hard spot on your tunica and then didn't go deep enough. In my experience, when in the correct spot, the plunger depresses easily and also without pain, if you depress it slowly enough. But plunger resistance should be minimal.

I have been injecting Trimix for about six years. Most of my experiences have been very positive. However, I have seen my share of bruising and swelling due to hitting bad spots etc. Most of my bad experiences I think could be attributed to improper injection sites. Given proper injection technique, most of my experiences have been very positive. Sometimes I just goofed period big time! I have had thoughts about screw ups big time by the pharmacy. However, hindsight I think my screwups were just me due to big time screwups by none other than ME!

notaes, I see in your signature you have the implant now. How do you like the implant compared to injections?

So glad you ask me about how I like implant compared to injections. I like my implant and hate the injections! They were painful and got to be a pain in the ass before I finally made decision to find a new Avenue for sex. The surgery for me was nothing. The hardest part of the surgery was waiting six weeks before we could have sex! That was definitely the hardest part of the implant. I have never gone six weeks without sex period! We got through it and hindsight it has all been worth it! Now there is no preparation for having sex which is best part!
