I’m injecting with Tri-Mix. But I lose the erection when my wife is on top. I am also taking FloMax daily and I’m wondering if it has a bad effect with the quality of the erection. Anyone else with the same problem?

I used Viagra, then Cialis, then that stopped working. My urologist prescribed Trimix plus sildenafil (generic Viagra) 100mg. This works great plus eliminates the Trimix pain since less Trimix is needed. Sildenafil is cheap: $5/time for me.

I have been a successful Trimix user for some 10 years. I started Flomax in January with no problem. I also take Lasic M-W-F; still no problems.

I was successfully using Trimix when my Dr prescribed Flomax. Within 3 or 4 days I could not get a hard on, even with increased amount of Trimix. Couldn't have penetrative sex at all. When able to masturbate to climax, the ejaculation was retrograde. Horrible feeling. Quit the Flomax, and erections with Trimix returned. Dr didn't mention a word about side effects when prescribing, but I've found out my reaction is fairly common with the drug.

Dr. Keith Roach, a Cornell University Medical School faculty member, is the writer of a health advice column that appears in newspapers around the U.S.
In a column last week, he addressed the issue of delayed ejaculation with Flomax (tamsulosin).
From the column:
"Tamsulosin . . . relaxes special muscles in the prostrate, which can compress the flow of urine through the prostrate. Unfortunately, a side effect is a reduction or even complete complete prevention of ejaculation. . . . study found that 30 percent of men (taking Tamsulosin) had this issue.
. . .A related medicine, alfuzosin (Uroxatral) does not have this side effect.
