Some questions about Trimix.

First off, thanks in advance for your replies.
I have had ED for 12 + years - have been a Type 2 Diabetic.
I used to be on Viagra and Tadalfil, and then they stopped working. Family issues, travel, work etc took a toll of my focus, and I've had no sex for a few years. Looking back, I was wrong about neglecting it for so long.
Fast forward to 2020,I finally met with my urologist who prescribed Trimix . The combination is PGE1-PAPA-PHENT in the ratio: 10McG-30MG-1MG/ML.
The urologist started with 20 units (0.2 ml)? This did not work well - as I had a "minor erection", not even good enough for masturbation.
So the doctor asked me to try 30 units, and increase it by 2 units each time until I got a firm erection.
Yesterday, I injected 30 units, and though it was much better than the day before, it wasn't the kind of "Boner" that would help me have sex.

So here are my questions:

1. Has anyone here had the same experience where they had to go from 20 units to 30 and beyond?
2. The doctor asked me to increase dosage by 2 units. Would it dangerous to increase it by 5 units at at time?
3. What is the known highest dosage one could use for this combination: 10McG-30MG-1MG/ML?
4. What is the minimum interval between 2 injections?
5. The wife is away, so I am using this to get used to the drug. I also have a vacuum pump. Is it a good idea to have timix and try using the vacuum pump to have blood get into the penis
6. Do you have any other perspectives - based on my missing out on any relevant questions?

Thanks again, and have a blessed day, week, month and a year!

Personally, not exactly but your experience is fairly common. It can take awhile to work out your optimal dose. The strength of the mix can vary a lot. Your mix is definitely lite on the PGE-1 (alprostadil) so that will play a part.
2. The doctor asked me to increase dosage by 2 units. Would it dangerous to increase it by 5 units at at time?

I'd never suggest you do something contrary to your doctors advice. Call the doctor and ask. Sometimes a little bit can make a big difference. Also bear in mind that injection technique can play a big part. It would be unfortunate if you had a poor injection response due to a poor technique and then you bump the volume up a bunch for the next shot but your technique is better and you end up with a much greater response and a resultant trip to the ER.
3. What is the known highest dosage one could use for this combination: 10McG-30MG-1MG/ML?

I don't know what the highest would be but a whole ml, although rare, isn't unheard of.
4. What is the minimum interval between 2 injections?

I believe the official answer is every other day. While learning you should stick to that. Once figured out you can consider varying from that. A fair number of us do very from that protocol. I do but not on a regular basis. Also bear in mind that there may be some cumulative effect so the result with the second shot might be unpredictable and wouldn't provide useful data when trying to learn your dose.
5. The wife is away, so I am using this to get used to the drug. I also have a vacuum pump. Is it a good idea to have timix and try using the vacuum pump to have blood get into the penis

Some guys do use a VED with injections. That doesn't work for me.
6. Do you have any other perspectives - based on my missing out on any relevant questions?

Have patience. Sometimes it takes awhile to get it all figured out.

You may end up needing a stronger mix. If you tolerate the PGE-1 well that is the ingredient I would increase. I use a mono-mix consisting of the PGE-1 only.

Many men initially experience ache from the PGE-1 but with continued use get over that. A minority never do.

Injection technique is important as the juice needs to get to the correct spot.

Practice before involving the wife is, IMHO, a good idea. You can work on perfecting your dose and technique without any performance anxiety. With a few women that may not be an issue, theoretically.

Adding a novelty (sex shop) cock ring to the mix can be very helpful for many guys. I find that a ring around my shaft behind the boys gives me a pretty good boost and allows me to use a bit less juice. If you try that expect to have a fair number of reject rings until you find what works for you. There are many options.
Thanks again, and have a blessed day, week, month and a year!

Thank you and may you have a blessed year also. Good luck and try to enjoy the learning experience.

bldoink : I cannot thank you enough for the time, energy and patience you have shown to reply to each of my questions.
I do not know this for a fact - but I think having neglected the ED issue for years may be one reason why the TRIMIX is not working right away. Then again, this has been only two times - once with 20 units, and the next with 30 units. I guess I have to wait.

It might be a while before I have sex - the wife is away. When she's back (whenever flights resume), it is going to be 2/3 weeks before I could attempt to have sex. I will keep injecting Trimix once every 3 days or to see what happens. Following your advice, I will increase it only by 2 units till I have a rock solid erection.

I am thinking that I would consult my urologist if that does not help - Maybe he might just change the prescription to a stronger mix of Trimix - but Honestly I hope there is no need for that.

I also want to thank you for the picture of the cross section of the penis you posted in response to my question "Can someone please explain what is meant by "X O'clock" position". Since the trimix is to be injected into the Corpora Cavernosa, I should be using both sides of the penis - am I right?

Last question : should I leave about half inch from the base to inject the Trimix?

Thanks again, and God bless you!

Not at the same time. The sides are connected so doing one side gets it done. Do alternate sides so as not to be continuously drilling holes in the same spot.

Everybody's anatomy is different so you'll have to learn what spot is best for you. In my case I discovered that too close to the base hurts so I go out a bit further. However, I not only alternate sides but I try to move up and down the shaft as much as possible, also to diversify the drilling spots. While in the learning phase I'd just start with whatever spot is easiest until you get more experienced with the procedure. Watch out for blood vessels but you'll drill one eventually. When you do just keep pressure on it for awhile. You'll get a bruise but it'll go away in a few days.
Thanks again, and God bless you!

You're welcome. I hope it helps and your journey with this ED thing is smooth and you find satisfying answers.

The Lord bless you, and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine on you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance on you,
And give you peace.

At what point do you install the ring (pre/post injection etc)?

Just so you know I was up to 80 units of Trimix before doc switched me to Quadmix. I will say with that much drug getting injected my penis hurt for 2 days after. With the Quadmix dose dropped down to 10 units, but wasn't long before I was back to 40 units to get a good hard erection. After that it became unreliable, and the side effect of pain/soreness in my penis made me give it up. On to the implant.

1. I have gone up to 50 units
2. I go up by 5 units, not a problem
3. My Uro told me to stop at 50 and if that doesn't work, he will change the formula
4. My Uro told me twice a week with this new stronger formula
5. I pump for penis health but don't pump before injecting
6. I have been using Trimix for a while and I'm on my third formula 30/3/20. It takes time to get it right. I'm using 45 units with a ring around my cock behind my balls. This combination is working for now.

Just a few points to add.

I started at 25 units and doc advised me to increase by 5 units until 45 units worked to my satisfaction. Subsequently, I was able to reduce the dose to 15 units and still had satisfactory results. However, after three years, including stronger mixtures, 75 units could not generate satisfactory results.

I found that pumping forced in additional blood which diluted the dose and reduced the effectiveness.

In addition to peripheral neuropathy, excess blood glucose also causes autonomic neuropathy which interferes with involuntary responses, including the sexual response. Better glucose control can help.

I won't claim my method is the only way to do it or the best. It's just what works for me. I put the ring on fairly quickly after injection. I massage the juice in a bit after injection while also maintaining some compression on the point of injection. I then put on the ring(s). I do it pretty quickly as it's gets much harder to put on when erect. So after injection but before erection. Actually I'm usually starting to get an erection when the ring goes on.

Some questions about Trimix.: UPDATE

So I started with 20 units, that did not work at the doctor's office on 6/11, and then went to 30 units on 06/13 with not great results. Today (06/15), I went up to 35 units. I am disappointed - While I had an erection, I guess it wasn't good enough for penetration.

So I'll wait 2 or 3 days and inject 40 unitsThe combination is PGE1-PAPA-PHENT in the ratio: 10McG-30MG-1MG/ML.

I think I have a serious case of Erectile dysfunction, caused by diabetes.

If at 40 units or 50 units, I am not hard enough, should I consult my doctor and see if he can prescribe a stronger dose?
Does anyone have a similar experience where they had to ask the doctor for a stronger Trimix dosage
?

Two questions: - 1) While I know there are many causes, variables and solutions, is it possible to increase the quantity of semen (Cum)? and 2) Does anyone have experience of using over the counter products that actually work?
