what was you starting dosage for 30-1-10?...uro started me with 15 units...way too much..8 hours before any relief...I am a long way from the er, and I was slow deciding to go because I was sleeping and had no pain...also, has anyone ever broken a 30 or 31 gauge Needle?...My one injection I used a 30g, 1/2 inch but want to lower my dosage and think it will be easier to measure with a smaller syringe...the ones I bought are 31g, 5/16...thanks for any advise...stan

I was told to start with 5 and go up 5 until satisfied. 5 or 6 Sudafeds will knock down a too long hard on.

Breaking a needle is EXTREMELY unlikely.

To give yourself some peace of mind: Take a used syringe and grasp the needle firmly with a pair of pliers. Bend the needle back and forth, the way you would if you were trying to break a wire.

You'll get to 20 reps, and maybe a lot more, before the needle breaks.

Focus on the other issues you mention. Needle breakage shouldn't be a concern.

My urologist injected me with 50 units on my 1st injection. seemed high, but had a perfect erection except for the Alprostadil pain. went down ok though. prescription was 10-30-1

I pulled the protective cap off to look at the Needle. When I put it back on it was missaligned and bent the needle 90*, so I am not too concerned. With that in mind, I am just curious about the uro's warning..Think maybe all needles are not created equally?
