Has anyone experienced bleeding at the injection site while on blood thinners or low dose aspirin, even though adequate pressure was applied after the injection?

Yes. I'm not on any blood thinners or routine aspirin, but will take an Excedrin for a headache. Had several days of headaches and ate Excedrin like candy for a few days. After an injection it was bleeding, and as much as I stopped it before starting it opened up again during sex. It wasn't anything like when the wife was still having periods, but anytime you see blood you have to check it out.
Not sure if there is any way to avoid the bleeding if you're on thinners. Sure don't want to put a band aid on, LOL. May be time to talk to your doc.

I take a low dose aspirin daily and have not had a bleed yet..probably will happen though..I wouldn't be concerned unless it is excessive, or doesn't stop..

I bleed like a butchered hog with just a little scratch but the only time I have bled from an injection is when once I hit a vein and once when I accidentally stuck the needle in the head of my cock. I bruised the first couple of times I injected myself, probably moved the needle too much, but no bruises in months and I inject about 3 to 4 times a week.
