Switching from Alprostadil to Trimix. Will be trying my first dose tonight on a trial run. 1/2 dose first time per doctor which will be .1ml. Excited to see how it works compared to the Alprostadil alone, which had stopped be ad effective for me as it used to be.
One question... I also received injectable phenylephrine in case of prolonged erection. Was wondering if anyone takes the oral phenylephrine instead of the injection and if so how does it work for you?

There are a couple reasons that I can think of that oral phenylephrine won't work (Im a pharmacist, btw). When taken orally, the drug first passes through the liver and is inactivated to a significant degree. By the time the drug gets to your penis, blood levels are probably too low to be effective. This is also why oral phenylephrine is a poor nasal decongestant.
By injecting it, the effects are more localized and go to the area where you want it.
Im not recommending this at home, but in the ER they just stick a needle in it and drain the blood.

my urologist said to start with .15ml or 15 units...that was too much for me...ER visit and 8 hours before it eased enough to bend...doc recommended Sudafed, 60mg..said to take 2..you don't need a prescription but have to ask the pharmacist for it..it is over the counter, but they track who gets it..

Thanks for the responses. I was unsure about the oral Sudafed myself, which is why I thought I would be prepared and get some injectable.
First test gave me no erection. I just felt some tingling like when I first injected EDEX, but not enough erection for penetration. It's possible I missed with the injection but I've been injecting for 20 years so don't think so. Anyway, will increase to .2ml-.25ml for next try and I'll report back. I know some adjustments to dosage is often expected so I'm still very hopeful.

Wow! Tried adjusted larger dose of Trimix last night (.25m) and had bragging results! I now believe that my first dose last week was an injection issue. I now think this because the plunger was very smooth on my second dose, where it had some resistance the first time. So in retrospect, I probably jumped up on dose to much, from .1ml to 2.5 ml. I got a hard erection that ranged from 85% to a rock hard 95% or more. This lasted a good 3-3.5 hours. I took some oral Phenylephrine at about 2 hours and was concerned I would need to inject if it continued any longer. But after 3 it began to subside so I didn't need to.
I think I will now drop the dosage back to .2 and try again next time. But bottom line, very pleased and much improvement over the Alprostatil alone. These were just solo tests to hone in on a dosage, so next go will be with the wife so I definitely look forward to that!

Thank you, and everyone on the board. It is so nice to have others that understand our issues and can support each other.

Greetings,
Having used BImix injections on both sides till I got up to 0.70 my Dr gave me TRImix. With TRImix I got some good results @ 3.5 on left side injections and I still think I get better results from left side injections vs Right side. My urologist says there is no one side better than the other.
(question)
Are we "aiming" for the MIDDLE of the gland where there "appears to be" a pathway, or ANYWHERE in the chamber ?
