Anyone switched from trimix to bimix?

I can't deal with trimix anymore. Even at only 3-4 units of 20/1/30 trimix, my erection lasts for 7-8 hours and hurts the entire time. I love how reliable it is, but it makes me unable to sleep the entire night after having sex and makes me worry about needing to go to the emergency room..
I want to ask my doc to let me try bimix instead, and avoid the alprostadil that causes the ache.
What has been your experience if you've made this switch?
I think I've read reports that say it won't get you as hard, but I'm fine with a little less hard if it's a lot less painful.

Yes , I also switched because of the pain. I could not handle the pain but the bi-mix did not work quite as well / last as long. Got an implant and more satisfied with the results.

I'm having the same problem with too long lasting erections...never thought I'd say that...I am on a stronger mix and as low a dose as I am able to meter with a 0-30 syringe ...I do have an appointment with an ED specialist and hope for a remedy that my urologist could not provide..he is not an ED specialist and I don't think he is aware of options other than standard 10-1-30 trimix.. I found some interesting info here that will allow me a better discussion with the ED specialist..

Before my implant, I switched from Tri to Bi because after climax, my dick was hurting! Eventually, I was injecting over 65cc, and this is when I decided to do the implant.
Tri was great initially, esp after injection, but after climax, I needed some relief!

I'm actually hoping it DOESNT work as well or last as long.
My doc called in a prescrip for bimix for me today. Should arrive next week.
I hope I don't need an implant for a while since I'm only 43.

Once upon a time, I switched from tri to bi. Trimix was also painful for me. I sometimes wonder why it's painful for some people and not for others. There's gotta be a reason someone just hasn't figured out.
Anyways, bimix was great, but a bit unpredictable for me. Let me know if you experience the same (as in sometimes the duration is much longer or much shorter than expected at the same dose)

After prostatectomy I was initially put on TriMix and had similar results - erections for 4+ hrs, painful and anxiety about having to go to ER if the erection didn’t go down. Even lowering the dosage didn’t change the outcome. I became so discouraged with trimix that I stopped using it and essentially gave up on a solution for my ED. At a dr appointment with my oncologist (not my Uro that prescribed trimix) he suggested bimix. What a difference! I have been using it for several years with much success and I am very happy with the results. My erections last for 1.5 - 2 hrs depending on my arousal and stimulation. My dick is hard and firm but is more pliable which I find enjoyable/natural. Based on your story, why not give it a try? If it works that would be great. If not, time to move on to other options. Wishing you the best man! Happy to discuss on PM if you like.

last night I had my best controlled erection with trimix..I cut the standard 30-1-10 mix in 1/2 by adding 5ml of saline to the 5mls of trimix in the vial. metered 2 units of that into the syringe and then added another 3 units of saline..erection was not as hard, but very good, and only lasted for an hour...just a thought before you trash a $100 vial ..

Yeah I'm not planning on throwing any away. Just wanted to see if bimix gets a decent result without the pain.
If it doesn't work well enough, I may do something like 2 units of bimix combined with 2 units of trimix.

Thanks those are the results I'm hoping for. It should arrive next week and I'll report the results.
