Dosage and location

I am new to Trimix. I have used a dosage of 25 on the syringe. I am wondering what dosages you men are using and what results you have had? Does a higher dose increase the erection or the duration of it? Also does the location of the injection make any difference? Base, mid-shaft, near the head? Thanks for sharing your experiences.

The potency and ratios of the mixes as well as the volume injected varies so much among doctors, pharmacies and users that your question is difficult to answer. Telling us your dosage is 25 (I assume units) is meaningless without knowing what your mix is. For example, I use mono-mix with the same ingredients as the proprietary brand Edex. With Edex I used one ml, AKA 100 units as in 100 on your syringe. I now use a locally compounded version that is much stronger. I'm currently using usually 14 units (14 on the syringe) of the stronger compounded version. I consider my results excellent.

Generally yes to both but the different ingredients of tri-mix have somewhat different effect characteristics. A good doctor will play with the ingredient ratios as well as the potency and injection volume to achieve the desired results.

IMHO yes, but not nearly as much difference as having the proper dose of the proper mix makes. I think mid shaft or just below is probably the best for comfort. Too low can be more difficult and painful. Toward the glans or head can be a bit more painful but not much. You'll figure that out but start as directed by your doctor.

Good luck.

Here is what is printed on the container:
Prostaglandin/Papaverine HCL/ Phentolamine 2.5ML 10 MCG/ 1 MG/ML

That's a pretty weak starter mix. You have a lot of room to play with in both strength of mix and volume of mix. The most potent ingredient of your mix is the Prostaglandin. Compare that to my mono-mix of prostaglandin (alprostadil) at 80mcg per ml.

By the way, your statement of your mix is off somehow. Phentolamine and Papaverine are in MG per ML. The prostaglandin is written in MCG per ML. Is your Prostaglandin the 2.5 or the 10?

Oops. I did not get the information correct.

It should have read 10 MCG/ 30 MG / 1 MG/ML

The doctor did a trial in the office of 20 units on the syringe. It was recommended that I use 25 units to start. I have gotten an erection suitable for intercourse that lasts maybe an hour. I am still plumped a bit afterward.
I also wonder if the dosage is correct because my length is a good inch shorter than pre-op. I don't know if the removal of the prostate and section of urethra is the reason and if a different dosage of the Trimix would improve that.

My formulation is also 10:30:1. First injection of 20 units produced a "bulky" penis but not erect enough for penetration and only lasted for maybe 25 minutes. Doctor & pharmacist said 50 units max dose and provided an antidote or reversal kit. I am considering 30 or 35 units next injection. Has anyone had any experience with the formulation strength listed above and the unit dosage I mentioned? If so what was your experience......I sure don't want to wind up in the ER.

wewokarents,

No, I've newer used that mix.

I would use caution and up your dose gradually. Up your dose in graduations as suggested by your doctor. If he didn't provide that information, call and ask. I'm thinking 5 units at a time.

Yesterday did a 30 unit injection of the 10:30:1 formulation. Erection popped up in less than 15 minutes, it did take about 30 minutes to reach rigidity sufficient for penetration. Momma liked it. Has anyone had instances of erection going down during foreplay but then getting rigid again? Mine did 3 or 4 times but regained rigidity and more during intercourse. Shortly after orgasm w/ ejaculation erection went down to a chubbie and stayed like that for about an hour. Next dose will be 40 units, maybe it will encourage an hour erection. Will see what happens.

Why increase your dose. The reaction to your last dose sounds perfect. You can increase your risk of pain, soreness and anorgasmia by using more than necessary. Your last dose gave you an erection and was so perfect it allowed your erection to respond to stimulation and you were able to "get off" without difficulty. Sounds perfect.

I thought it went well too. However, wifey likes to go for more than the time the Trimix allowed me. I think we are close to the right dose but an hour to an hour and a half would work better for our libidos. That is the beauty of Trimix.....it is customizable. An implant would work better IMO. But not ready to pull that trigger yet, as long as Trimix is working. Anyone else here played with the injection dosage to get it "just right"? Suggestions? :)
