I am so thrilled I made the switch from Edex to TriMix. I’m unable to use Ciagra/Cialis due to a bad side effect. I was prescribed Edex 20mcg, which definitely worked. But the aches were getting a little painful, but tolerable.
My Urologist prescribed me Trimix. The mix is PGE1/Phentolamine/Papavine. 8.3-0.83-22.5. I am in the next step up from the standard mix. According to this forum, this can be considered a low mix. While I agree with this, but using 4 units seems to be my sweet spot. My Rx says to use 0.1ml, which barely worked.
With trimix, the main thing is that I definitely felt ‘fuller’ than with Edex. Sensitivity has increased. I’d like to take the next level up, but a little weary on having a super dick for several hours.
I’m curious on different mix levels and how much you all take. I’d like to go up the next level, but unsure what mix would be. Thoughts?

Re: What’s your Trimix strength?
Hi NorCal---I have been using trimix for almost two years now. See my mix at the bottom. I consider myself taking a low dose. I started with 20 units which gave me a steel pipe but also gave my cock a headache. I played with the dose and have refined it as follows: 15 units for a steel pipe that lasts 3 hours. 10 units for a 2 hour very usable erection. 5 units for a 30 minute solo session.
If you have questions you can PM me.

Phil, 75, married 54 years, ED started about 9 years ago. After viagra and cialis and pumping have found Trimix. Use 10 units injected with a partial erection. 31g-5/16" or 31g 1/2"needle. 10-1-30 Wife likes it too
Re: What’s your Trimix strength?
I worked my way up to 75 units of 100/6/30, and it's beginning to fail, just like each strength did as time went on.

Re: What’s your Trimix strength?
I very recently got my first vial of trimix. The packaging gives no clue as to its composition except for the numbers: 17.5/.625/6.25 typed on the label.
I have no idea as to what those numbers denote.
I have had the great benefit of a pm from member bidoink, who helpfully offered (I hope he won't mind my repeating his words here):
Your tri-mix formula sounds a bit unusual to me. The most potent ingredient in tri-mix is the Alprostadil which is generally listed first or last. In your mix it appears to be last. It's also the ingredient most likely to cause pain or soreness in a minority but noticeable number of users. Your mix is fairly weak.

I agree that your mix strength is on the lower end of the scale. 4 units is a very small dose, small to the point of even being difficult to meter in all but the smallest volume syringes. A .3cc or 1/3 ml syringe would, IMHO, be best. If the doctor recommended 0.1ml, that would be 10 units, over double the 4 units you claim to have taken.

I assume you're talking volume of the injection. The only way to titrate is to try a little more. If only 4 units worked fairly well I'd think 6 units would be a good next step.

If you're doing as well as you say on 4 units I'd guess that your current strength mix is just fine. You don't need a stronger mix.
Edit: For code error.

I'm sorry I wasn't very detailed before. I've been having internet problems and was working from my phone. It's still in and out but I have internet momentairly.
I'm not a medical professional of any kind. My non-professional reading of your script is as follows:
Papaverine 17.5mg per ml
Phentolamine .625mg per ml
Prostaglandin, (AKA Alprostadil, AKA PGE-1) 6.25mcg per ml
Shamelessly copied from the internet:
1000 milligrams (mg) is a unit of mass equal to 1 gram and 1000 micrograms (mcg) is equal to 1 milligram (mg)

Re: What’s your Trimix strength?
I’m using TriMix (30mg, 4mg, 40mcg) 45 units. It gives me a bit of a dull ache in my groin unfortunately and can make it more difficult for me to orgasm. But it makes me hard enough to fuck for about 30 mins.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.
Re: What’s your Trimix strength?
I tried .4 units after trying .2. I feel like I over did it tho. Wicked hard on. Felt amazing and what I wanted as it stayed hard. But I freaked out and the Sudafed brought it down.
Will be dropping to .3.
.2 units didn’t stay that hard for too long.

For our purposes we would not be using tenth of unit measurements such as your .4, .3 or .2. We generally only use whole units. The units are as indicated on a U-100 type insulin syringe by lines, usually a line for every unit or for every two units. The plastic bag your syringes come in should say U-100 Insulin on it somewhere if they are in fact U-100 insulin syringes. There are other types which we generally don't use. Your syringes, if U-100 Insulin type, should have numbers on the side indicating unit multiples, such as 5 or 10 units and lines on the side that indicate individual units. However many U-100 insulin syringes will have a line for every 2 units. Look closely at what you're using. You need to determine if your syringes are U-100 insulin syringes and are marked in units as opposed to milliliter syringes.
A measurement of .1ml will be 10 units, .5ml will be 50 units and 1ml (one) will be 100 units.
A couple of links that might help:
https://www.healthhub.sg/live-healthy/1438/how-to-read-an-insulin-syringe
https://www.registerednursern.com/how-to-read-a-syringe/
The second link has some examples of different types of syringes. The last example is a 100 unit U-100 insulin syringe with lines every 2 units. I use .3cc/ml (1/3ml) U-100 syringes with lines every unit. The smaller syringe makes for easier measurements and easier plunger resistance. That's assuming, of course, that your dose is small enough to fit in a .3cc syringe.
I hope I clarified things and didn't actually make it more confusing. Or maybe you just made some typos and all of that was a pointless post.
Good luck.

Re: What’s your Trimix strength?
Definitely go with the 30-unit syringe when you get your doses down to under 30 (0.3 ml). I found my happy range at 10-15 ml, and ordered a case of U-30 syringes. Makes it easer to fill correctly, for sure.
ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.
