Why did I wait so long to try this ED solution?
First I must thank all board contributors for helping me to amass the knowledge to move to Trimix and deal with the problems inherent with beginning this treatment.
I’m 18 again!

MIX
30/3/20 (Pap/Phen/PGE) Dose 1 = 10 Units Dose 2 = 6 Units
(Recommended 1st dose 5-10 units then add 2-5 per session until desired results)
Pharmacy provided 100 unit 30 ga ½” syringes
Internet virtual doctor’s review and Trimix purchase.

Experience
Trimix injection was not a big deal. Doing hormone replacement for years.
Need to compress injection site for 5+ minutes (on blood thinners)
Massaging/distributing medication after compression for 5 minutes.
Note, injecting the antidote into the erect penis is more painful and traumatic.

Results
Day 1 / In 15-20 minutes hardness = 11 Duration +4 Hrs
Minor ache from unaccustomed hardness? Gone after deflation.
Can’t remember such a hard erection, therefore the 11.
Day 2 / In 20-30 minutes, hardness 10 Duration +4Hrs
Minor ache persisted from 30 min after injection to 4:30 after.

Adjustments
Day 1 / Full min dose of 10 units.
Sudafed (ER unfortunately) at 2:30 hrs and 3:45 hrs
Phenylephrine 50 Units (Opposite side injection) at 3:30. No effect.
Phenylephrine 50 Units same side at 4:00 hrs. Deflation in 15 minutes.
Orgasm, urination, ice and nap did not diminish the erection.
Day 2 (4 days later) / 60% of day 1, Dose = 6 units.
Sudafed Std release at 2:45 (60mg) and at 3:15. Very minimal effect if any.
Phenylephrine 50 units same side. 50% deflation in 30 minutes.

Questions
Assuming I may need to reduce mix strength since this is not a minimum formula.
If so, what’s the right mix / formula?
Is minor ache due to erection strength or reaction to one of the medications?
(Ache goes away with the end of erection. No other side effects.)
(Buying 30 Unit syringes to try to titrate dose down accurately. Goal 2-4 Units)
If 3 units works then keep this mix?
Does injecting antidote into the opposite side from Trimix work at all?
(overly worried about fibrosis rather than priapism.)
Assume, this response means no venous leakage?
Very surprised so little works for me. Assumed I had bad ED.

Having a relationship with a good local urologist that deals heavily in sexual medicine would be a very good idea.

Yeah, I'd drop down to a starter mix. 15/1/10 or something in that neighborhood. Yes .3ccc or 30 unit syringes would be a good idea. Ask your pharmacist about the possibility of diluting your mix with sterile bacteriostatic water, and how to do it. I have no idea what the pharmacist will say.

The ache is likely related to the PGE ingredient (AKA alprostadil). It is common to get the ache initially. It is also common for the ache to moderate or disappear completely with continued use. Alprostadil is generally considered to be the most potent ingredient of tri-mix. I use a mono-mix in which the PGE is the only active ingredient. A minority of guys have a negative response to PGE and never get past the ache. You experiences so far lead me to believe you'll be one of the guys to have good responses and minimal problems with the PGE.

I have no experience with injecting an antidote. Fibrosis is a risk for a minority of guys. A priapism for an extended time would be very bad. At 4 hours I suspect you're fine. (Don't forget I'm not a medical professional so I don't know shit.)

Consider yourself fortunate so little works so well. I'm not sure it has a major indication on your cause or ultimately the seriousness of your ED. Find a good local or at least semi-local urologist.

Thanks for the feedback. Pretty much what I was thinking.

I got the ache too, so I switched to bi mix (no PGE1).
It doesn't work as well, but it works, and the erection feels more "organic" and less forced.

Sometimes I use the bi mix, but sometimes when I really want a strong erection, I'll use my old tri mix and only use like 3 units. I've found that around 3 units, the pain is barely noticable.

Before trying a different mix, see if just 3 units can do the job for you. You might be in good shape.

Sorry you ended up in the ER already. So many docs are reckless with the initial dosing. People should really start with like 5 units of weak tri mix and work their way up. Who wants an extra ER visit during covid?

Very helpful feedback. Much appreciated. I will be trying 2-3 units, but Bimix could be the next trial. Especially your note about more natural feel. Was thinking “forced feel” was just over strength. Maybe not.

Let me clarify I never went to ER. I received the antidote injection med from my compounding pharmacy. It’s very effective and I believe all new Trimix users should have some. Better than calling a urologist then going to ER for delayed, expensive and embarrassing resolution.

I don’t think injection 1 would have ever resolved in time with the Sudafed Extended Release. Injection 2 with Sudafed Std Release may have. But, injecting antidote means no worries.

The one somewhat surprising issue was injecting the antidote on opposite side of Trimix seemed ineffective. The two chambers are connected which is why we inject only on one side. However after erection they probably don’t mix well.

I had the ache too. After 10-15 injections it is now gone for the most part and I am only using 3-4 units.

I may get the bi mix after this vial is done just to see if that works better with absolutely no ache at all. And to see if the erections can last less time.

The Trimix at 4 units has me hard for at least 4 hours and i always have to take 240mg of sudafed to get it down.

Thanks for the reply. Only tried two doses of 60 mg of Sudafed each. Clearly I'm NOT being aggressive enough here. Does that much sudafed affect your blood pressure much?

Sudafed certainly can negatively effect BP. However, everyone is different. Try taking your BP after taking sudafed and see if you're one of the guys that needs to be careful with it.

I wouldn't rush to the bi-mix. There has been some research indicating that the alprostadil ingredient has the least risk of scaring or fibrosis. That's one reason I'm happy to stick with my alprostadil mono-mix, that and it works well for me. You just need to get your dose and mix figured out.

It hasn’t affected my bp at all and I’ve done it plenty of times now but yeah I’d say it’s an individual thing so see what works for you.
