Injecting newbie here - this type anyway. Been on insulin for about 16 years.

Quick history: Had my clinic injections and ultrasound in mid December. Unfortunately no success with the low and mid doses of trimix. This urologist only prescribes trimix. After reading her notes, it looks like the first injection brought a 20% erection, and the second, 15 minutes later, only 40%. She said I could try the strongest mix if I wanted, but she couldn't inject any more during my visit.

I received my first order of the strongest mix (see signature) on Dec 26. Instructions were to start at 10 units, and increase by 5u up to a max of 100u. I injected the next morning. 10units brought some fullness and better results than at the clinic, but nowhere near hard enough for intercourse. That night, however, my wife and I fooled around and I orgasmed faster than I had in months (maybe years). She said the head of my penis felt warm - a departure from normal - which she found very enjoyable. This morning we were able to spend some quality time together. I injected 15u and got better results, but as it turned out, still not quite hard enough for intercourse (we tried). Again she commented about the warmth. Hoping the long holiday weekend will provide the opportunity to try 20 units.

I'm curious about the warmth, even 10-12 hours after injecting. Is that normal?

The warmth is coming from better blood supply to the glans. Thats a good sign

Corporatestiff, , the warmth is normal, sometimes the shaft of my cock actually feels hot to the touch, especially the first 45minutes to an hour after injecting, keep moving up in 5 unit increments until you get your desired response, let us know how your holiday weekend went!

Oldbeek, were you still able to get 4 hour of wood from the juice, when you made the decision to get implanted?

Yes, The PGE-1 in trimix (alprostadil) caused me a lot of pain and I started to get a curve. Decided injections were no going to work. I did like the complete dick being hard though.

The mix I have been prescribed is the strongest available (at least through my clinic/pharmacy). I am aware of the implications and managing my expectations accordingly. That being said, I am still hopeful. When I had my heart attack, they told me my veins are 20 years older than I am. Poorly managed diabetes does that. The trimix is doing what it's supposed to, it just has a lot to overcome.

The holiday weekend played out without further injections or sexual activities. Thought about injecting Sunday evening alone just to keep the process of figuring out what dosage works moving forward, but abandoned it eventually as it got to be too late. Monday morning comes early.

Tried 20 units on Monday night alone. still not achieving the erection I'm hoping for. I masturbated and got fairly hard - but still not enough for intercourse I think. Also I have some pretty festive looking bruising and a little swelling at the injection site. I assume I hit a vein despite my efforts to stay clear of them.

I'm not sure how much further I'm going to go with increasing dosage as the aching is substantial already. Right now the pain is still tolerable, and somewhat like an itch - sexual attention seems to scratch that itch to a point but only as long as it continues. When the attention stops, the pain comes right back.

Have you tried adding a novelty cock ring to the mix? If not you sound like a good candidate for trying some. I find they supplement my injections well, giving a good bump on top of the injections, allowing me to inject a bit less drug. It's a bit trial and error finding what rings work for you, and expect some rejects but it's definitely worth experimenting with. I use a fairly firm ring around the base behind the boys. I put it on pretty quickly after injecting, after some compression on the injection site to avoid hematoma but before much inflation.

At least one forum member uses the hardware store Velcro wire organizers. I bought a roll of them but found them too sharp and prickly but they didn't go to waste so it's a very low risk investment.

Corporatestiff, I have 2 things in common with you, same age and shitty veins, although the cause of mine are vastly different than yours, I see from your signature you dealt with alot the last few years, I just wanted to give you a tip on possibly reducing the ache, when you inject the juice do it very slowly over a period of several seconds, sometimes I actually pause for around 3 intervals on the plunger and resume, this can cut down on the ache from a higher strength dose, I use a 30/2/20, pap/phent/alpr strength but do a larger volume amount than say the average injector, like around 40 units, which makes this technique easier to administer over several seconds and has reduced my ache and I feel makes the juice more potent, I got the idea from Bldoink past posts of how he describes injecting in pulses, read his past posts, I'm going to experiment with cock rings in the future for that extra bump, got a venous leak that can hinder firmness of erection, but this isnt about me, hope this suggestion can help the ache if you continue to move up the ladder in dose, good luck!!

So 25 units tonight. Slowly getting closer to the desired results but not there yet. My wife is still enjoying the increased heat from the greater blood flow even if intercourse still is not an option yet.

Tried injecting more slowly - no real noticeable change in the amount of aching. Not sure if I went about it correctly or not.

My wife is not a fan of the cock rings in general. We learned that when I was using the VED, so likely not something we'll try together, but I may try using on my own.

Try again in a day or two. Still hopeful.
