Problems with achieving orgasm - L/T effect of injections?

I thought about whether I should post here or in the Anorgasmia thread.
Maybe I’ll try there as well...

Here’s my issue.

I’ve been a long term injector (coming up to 3 years now) and it’s been a fairly frequent event (3+ times per week).

It’s clear that achieving orgasm is becoming more difficult for me with time.
I was never quick to climax when I was younger, but it’s getting more difficult .
Sometimes it requires vigorous stimulation (hands / vibrators etc.) rather than penetrative sex.
Sometimes it doesn’t happen at all.

I’m 65, so obviously age will have an effect.
I’m not on any meds that are known to cause problems.

My question is whether other guys injecting over the long term have experienced any loss of sensitivity, or have found things changing in the same way as my experience?

It’s something that bothers my wife as she thinks I don’t find her as sexually desirable as before....

Rich, I have been on trimix for two years and I have noticed that starting about 3 or 4 months ago I could not have an orgasm while having vaginal sex or getting oral sex. It has also become difficult to have one while masterbating as well.
You will read on this forum from a lot of guys who are having the same issue. Most say it is from one of the ingredients of trimix. I am thinking of talking to my URO and see if there is something we can do to change that. Maybe a different RX, switch to Bi mix or something that will allow me to reach orgasm. Otherwise, our sex is very enjoyable for both my wife and myself.

I used trimix for a couple of years and had the same problem but I think my issue with it is more mechanical than side effect related. For one thing 8 units of trimix made me so hard I literally could not feel anything in the head or the shaft - nothing. I could thrust for 30 minutes and get nothing! The problem seems to be that from my circumcision being cut so tight it was literally cutting off nerve impulses. So I started doing manual foreskin restoration to loosen up skin and over a few years have added roughly 3/8" of slack skin while erect. I also seem to have gone from 5.25" hard to nearly 5.75" hard so that tells me something about what being cut does to a guy. The loose skin I've added has allowed me to expand when I get hard and I can maintain sensitivity that was missing before I did the manual tugging. Unfortunately I've not been able to test my theory since menopause visited and there's no interest and before that my wife would usually get a UTI from all the thrusting and she got to the point of saying nevermind if I injected.

Thanks for your reply.

I use Invicorp.
The only common ingredient with Trinidad is phentolamine and I’m not aware that it’s the cause of the problem, but I’ll do some more digging....

Much like you, I’m finding that I need a less sensitive stimulation than that provided by vaginal or oral sex.

Some interesting information.
Thanks.

I’m not circumcised so we don’t have that in common!

Sorry that you haven’t been able to test your theory...,

I too am not cut, was born at home, and my wife and I do not have the UTI issue. In fact, I have what I think is an over abuncance of foreskin. When flaccid I have about a quarter inch of foreskin in front of my cock head. When hard the tip of my cock head just peeks out but most of it is still covered with foreskin. I can pull it back without any problem. I usually pull it back tight so I can see where any veins are located prior to injecting. Unfortunately, I am a free bleeder and if I hit a vein or vessel blood will drip a little from the injection spot. Just my two cents worth.

I can get some dull ache from prostaglandins in Trimix . That ache can be distracting enough to make it difficult for me to cum.

When I switched from TriMix to Quadmix the amount of prostaglandins in my shot was less because the atropine was doing some of the work. I had less ache and now it’s a bit easier for me to cum.

If you are on the lower end of the Trimix scale you might try bimix (no prostaglandins). If you are on the higher end of the Trimix scale you might try switching to Quadmix. (Although it has prostaglandins you may be able to take a smaller dose of quad)

Sigh...to have a fully functional foreskin...a guy can dream.

This probably sounds crazy but..... I had the same problem of not being able to orgasm using Trimix. I read that rubbing vitamin E oil on your cock over time would bring back sensitivity. So every morning I would rub vitamin E oil on my cock and cock head. I rubbed it in thoroughly LOL. After a month I had an orgasm before wearing my wife out. Now I have orgasms every time we have sex and I also can feel the sensitivity as soon as I enter her. Prior to using the Vitamin E oil I couldn't feel any sensitivity.
