Dealing With Pain

Hi all,

Been injecting for a little bit under a month. I get good erections with the injections (PGE-1) and i think i've gotten good at the technique. Erections generally last 1-2hrs. I'm only doing 5mcg which is good.

However, there's this pain in my penis. It's fairly bad. Like i literally have to control my breathing, and get on all fours for the pain to subside a bit. I haven't had sex with the injections yet but I think i would find it hard to enjoy sex with the pain.

I don't want to take painkillers due to concerns of blood thinning and the injection wound not clotting quickly. Is there any tips on how to make the pain not be so bad? Or is this something i just gotta man up to?

Thanks.

That much pain isn't good. Make sure you're injecting in the correct place, have the correct needle and avoiding any veins. When I was injecting I was using an auto injector but still had pain. Once my dosage got up to needing 50-80 units to get an erection the ache could last me two days. Having sex after injecting was tough sometimes.

Yeah, sometimes I'm here squirming in pain. It's not pain at the injection site but more like an ache within the penis, even in the part of the penis inside the body.

Right now I'm just soldering through it, but certainly sucks having to be in such pain just go get a good erection.

Do NOT continue with that much pain. It is NOT necessary.

PGE-1 (prostaglandins) are known to cause that ache in some men. It’s a known side effect. It impacts some more than others. It sounds like it causes you a LOT of discomfort.

Instead ask your urologist if you could try switching to Bi-Mix. It’s Papaverine and Phentolamine. You may find you get good erections with BiMix, without the ache caused by the PGE-1.

(Useful information: TriMix is BiMix with PGE-1)

I'm experiencing the same pain with Trimix. The erection quality is alright, but the pain is absolutely unbearable. Feels like my dick is full of broken glass after injecting, and touching it makes it worse. Sex is not enjoyable like this. I think I need to go for implant

My first few injections were like this. After several months it got more bearable. A lower PGE1 dose mix might help.

I’ve had that pain as well with the trimix , have tried quite a few different mixtures, and also tried the bimix, which did not work for me . ( but there was no pain ). Then the doc had me try the quad mix, and it so far is working really well . Everyone seems to be so much different on what works for them .

Everyone says keep on trying , there are many different mixtures available ..

I also was allergic to the PGE-! in tri-mix. 30 units of a low dose(8.5 mcg of pge-1 in the tri-mix) had me in tears. I ordered bi mix 30-4. it didn't work. I used the old and new mixture together. I drew in 3 units of the tri-mix and 27 units of 30-4 bi mix. Pain was tolerable and erection lasted 2 hours. I don't know if it was the allergy to PGE-1 or not but I got Peyronie's and scar tissue with less than 40 injections, so moved on to an implant.

I know you have thought about an implant. This is good time to measure your entire penis from the glans to the bottom of your cruse. After injecting the trimix your entire penis cavity will hurt. You can feel where it hurts down in your perineum. Measure the entire thing and document it on paper. I measured from pubic bone to glans and pubic bone to anus area at bottom of the cruse. Then measured the entire length. I had this information for my implant surgeon and he knew in advance what size implant that was needed. During surgery the measurement he took came out to be exactly the same as my pre surgery measurment.

I reduced Trimix pain by using 100mg sildenafil + 40% of the Trimix I needed previously. This is an "official" method.
