Nervous and New to Injections

Postby BoneBack » Mon Feb 08, 2021 3:55 pm

I will be 40 in a few weeks. Used cialis, viagra, and Levitra for many years but these last 2 years they stopped working. I dont get aroused like I used to mostly and my Erectile Dysfunction is 100% psychogenic or should I say psychological. Also I truly believe that porn screwed me up and fried my brain. I watched it constantly and mastubated all the time...literally for years. I'm starting injections in a few days (I got a prescription for 30/1/10 for Trimix) and im very nervous about the injections. I have read tons of postings on everything.....30 or 31 gauge needles and 5/16 to a half in in length. I have also read about making sure you miss the veins.

My number 1 question is for all those like me that have nothing physical wrong with them and there is mental block, is it possible for me to use the shots for a while and I would be able to get off of them? Also is it possible that the shot would be like Cialis, meaning that 1 shot could carry me through a weekend? Or could I just stack the shot with 5mg of cialis about 8 hours after the shot?

Also does it hurt and if it does what are things I can do to mitigate the pain? Obviously I'm very nervous about this and any advice you guys can give me to help would be greatly appreciated. Valentines Day is days away and I wanna give my woman "what for" and a nice "thrashing".

Thanks again guy for your help!

I do not find the injection painful at all. But then everyone is different, the needle is so small is one reason there’s little to no pain. Plus there’s not a lot of pain receptors at the base of penis.
No, one injection will not carry you through a weekend. Your doctor should have instructed you on that. You will want to inject about 20 minutes before anticipated “fun time”. Hold pressure at injection site for 5 min and massage shaft. The injection induced erection should not last more than 4 hrs. Mine last 2-2.5 hrs.
Follow doctors orders on how many units to inject. You do not want to inject more than recommended it could result in priapism, not good. Most start low to avoid that, then work your way up if needed. Your doctor should have injected you in the clinic to see what results you would get as far as firmness of erection and duration. I hope this helps.
Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.

So you don't place the injection in the middle of the shaft....but you place it at the base of the penis instead?

That is correct....the base at 10 or 2 position.

In the documentation that comes with edex injections, the manufacturer states that the best spot is typically the "proximal third of the penis" which means the third closest to the base.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Welcome to the wonderful world of injections. They are a miracle.
I suggest you watch the many Trimix injection videos you will find online, such as Youtube. Many threads here have direct links. They will show the proper method, which is very important. Follow them and you should have little trouble. The only failures I've had was from improper method. You get used to it, and start looking forward to sticking a needle in your dick!
ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.

Thanks bro. I tried to find links on YouTube but couldn't find any. Where can I find videos on this website?

Mine is psychological as well and the shots have been great.

I think for me since there is no physical related reason for my ED I only have to use about 3 units and it lasts me 2-4 hours of hardness. But I also think I was prescribed a stronger mix so that may have to do with it.

There have been a few times I have missed the right spot and nothing has happened so don't freak if it doesn't work occasionally.

It works so well I may look into bimix because 4 hour erections for me are a little more than what I need.

I'll be curious to hear how they work for you since you're in the same psychological boat.

Thanks so much bro. A few questions....
1. Do they hurt when you shoot up?
2. What gauge needles do you use?
3. What is a unit? My mixture is 30/1/10 which i think is the weakest mix.

Also on a scale from 1-10, how hard are you able to get and how long does it take for it to work for you?

How old are you....I'll be 40 in a few weeks!
