My doctor called in my first Trimix script to my local compounding pharmacy, but I got a voicemail from them they they cannot make the Trimix formula that he prescribed, and they they can only make either "Bimix 6, Bimix 7, Trimix 2 or Trimix 4".

Has anyone heard of these terms before? Specifically the number after the Bimix or Trimix? Of course I'll call them tomorrow when they open but wanted to educate myself is possible before speaking with them.

Those are likely terms specific to that pharmacy. You'd have to ask them just what they mean. Your doctor will have to write the script to match what they offer. However, a better option might be to find another compounder that will make whatever the doctor orders. The pharmacy I use (Florida only) makes whatever the doctor orders and isn't limited to set formulas.
