WHERE DOES THE DOSAGE GO FROM HERE?

I will make thus short......

I'm newly on Trimix 30/1/10 ratio. It's supposed to be the weakest ratio. A while ago my first trial run in the doctor's office was bad. He gave me 20 units (I guess I'm saying that right.....the plunger was at the number 20 on the syringe. I H
had a 6 hour erection and went to the ER. By the time I got there it was starting to go down but that was after 24 over the counter sinus pills and 18 Sudafed pills from the pharmacy. Fast forward this weekend I performed my first shot myself. I did a good job and decrease the dosage to 8 units (plunger at the number 8) and I had a erection for another 6 hours. This time I took 20 Sudafed pills to get this one to go away. So what do you guys suggest? Should I take the dosage to 3 units this time or what?

My initial and current formula is17.55/0.588/5.88, so half of what posters say is a typical 30/1/10 “starter mix”. During my teaching visit the urologist recommended 20 units (0.2 cc or ml) Having read hundreds of posts on the forum I told the nurse I’d rather try 10 units. In the end I had a 4 hour erection deflated with Afrin nasal spray, 60mg x 4 of short acting Pseudoephedrine and some exercise. No pain etc, no ED VISIT. I worked down to 5 units which gives about 3-4 hours erection without having to use reversal. Less erection time I f I use reversal after intercourse.

In any case if going down to 3 or 4 units still gives a prolonged erection, there are weaker mixes like mine. On the bright side a 3 ml (300 unit) vial lasts me over 50 injections. At $80 that’s less than $2.00 a boner, getting close to Viagra cost. Good luck, I feel you’re heading in the right direction.

Ps. Get some 30 unit syringes to allow for more accurate dosing when using so little.

Try dropping down to a bi mix! I think that is what bldoink is using.

My Trimix formula WAS 18 paperverine/.65 phenolamine/ 5.8 prostin. Took 2 hours to get hard with 60ML injected. Pharmacist said it takes a while to find the right mix and once found, patients stick with it. New formula is 22/.83/8.3. will try 20ML. My thinking: 20ML is 2/3 LESS than the old version at 60 ML and the new mix is about 30% stronger albeit not on a weighted average.

Definitely not ml (milliliters). Perhaps units.
There are 100 units in a milliliter. Big difference.

Do you mean you stayed hard for 2 hours? Because injections get most of us hard within just a couple of minutes.

Actually I use mono-mix, as in straight alprostadil (PGE-1) and saline at 80mcg per ml.

If I inject in the wrong spot or too fast it burns or hurts. Too much can cause alprostadil ache. The correct dose and needle placement and a slow depression of the plunger in short little pulses results in an effective pain free experience. Your mileage may vary. Obviously some people just can't tolerate alprostadil.
