Still playing with dose, 4+ hour erection

So to refresh my status:

  • First time the doctor had me use 10 units. That was a super-powerful boner that went until I had to inject the antidote. So we adjusted.
  • He then put me on 3 units. That worked way better, 2 hour erection, no problem. Erection still stuck around after ejaculation.
  • I had one misfire that resulted in nothing. I attribute that to user error.
  • Then I tried 2 units to see what that would do. Took a bit longer to get hard, but it lasted long enough to ejaculate, and started to subside right after I came.
  • We wanted a bit of a longer session last night, so I tried 3 units again. Might have been 3.5 as it's difficult to be perfect. Erection WOULD NOT go down. At three hours, I took Sudafed. Nothing. 4 hours tried again with more Sudafed. Nothing. So, I finally had to resort to injecting what I had remaining of my antidote.

So what else contributes to the length that this thing works at? 3 units lasting 2 hours vs. suddenly the same dose lasting double that? I was afraid to go to sleep without knowing it was down.

Usual “I’m not a doctor disclaimer”.

I think the Trimix you are prescribed is too strong for you.

If 1 unit is causing the difference between an erection that is just OK verses priapism that requires an injected antidote, that is too strong. It’s dangerous.

Ask for a weaker mix so the volume you are injecting is greater than 10 units. It’s much safer. If you are off by 1 unit when you draw up your dose you are off by 10%, not 50%.

You might ask your doctor if you should try BiMix instead of Trimix. It seems like you have a vigorous response to the medication so BiMix might be a better choice. (BiMix is TriMix but without the prostaglandins)

I agree that your mix is too strong.

I’m completely shooting from the hip here, but.... I started w 10 units, which produced ~2 hour rock hard., then my dr changed my testosterone injection to a much higher dose .... next injection was still strong at 3 hours. 120 mg of Sudafed took care of it in about 30 min.. then a week later the wife and I were Messi g around and the little man came to attention without any Ned or injection...maybe related to the testosterone... wife and I both agreed that I should still inject so I could enjoy it without worries. As I was injecting my erection was steadily going down..... then nothing happened... I assume that the tri-mix simply washed out with the blood that was rapidly leaving my penis... in 4 months this is the first time I had no reaction( misfire) I know it went in the perfect spot as w an erection it’s much easier to hit..we live and learn

I wanted to update the thread — I’m an idiot. My pharmacy sent different types of syringes and I didn’t notice. My original doses were with syringes that had marks for each unit. A few of them are marked every 2 units - so I didn’t notice that, pulled up to 3 marks and injected twice my target. I just noticed that today filling a syringe and then felt really stupid.

So, big blush on me. However, I did get a weaker blend for the next batch (and cheaper from another vendor) so that I don’t run into these issues. The wide swing in experience between 3 actual units and 6 was still too dramatic at the current strength — I’d rather have more room to play and not have 1 or 2 units be the difference between a normal 2 hour erection and 6 hours and having to take an antidote.

So I appreciate all the advice — I just feel dumb for only noticing the markings on the syringes just today. Live and learn.
