Syringe filled with air when injected

Hello,

I have quite a stress now. I tried an injection today but syringe was filled with air. Forgot to push prior to injecting.
So I injected air in my penis instead of PGE1... did it happen to one of you before ? Should there be an serious consequence ? Couldn’t find any topic dealing with this issue

Most serious consequence is an air embolism. That can occur with larger volumes of air (the equivalent of perhaps 2000 units=20 cc.). injected into a vessel. So your injection is small and of course we use the 3 and 9 o’clock positions for injections to avoid the large vessels. Passing through the small veins you can see on the outside of the penis will cause them to leak and bruise, but they are almost always passed through and not entered.
