BHM,
Looking down at the penis, mid shaft, right or left side OR "3 and 9 o'clock".
While holding the tip(glans), pulling out slightly, insert needle straight in either side of the shaft, inject fluid, withdraw needle, then immediately press the the injection site with a thumb firmly for 1-2 minutes. Check the injection site and if necessary hold for an additional 1-2 minutes, to ensure no bleeding. Then massage the shaft the ensure fluid distribution.

I don't know if you have the link to my very amateur video but you can have it if you want. It does not show the resulting erection although I can assure you the injection worked.
