Tips on preventing priapism

Hey FrankTalkers,

Any tips on how to prevent priapism when using injections?

I've been using Invicorp, usually in the evenings just before bed. I often go to sleep with an erection and set my alarm for in 3 hours to check that things have settled down. The last few times I've still been hard 3 hours later.

I'm considering trying changing to Caverject/Edex as I don't think it is as strong. Other than that, does anyone have any tips on what to do if I'm still hard 3 hours after injecting?

Thanks,
Ben

Hey bro I see that you are using Invicorp regularly. Have you had any scarring so far? Do you know anything for scarring risk of Invicorp compared to Bimix or Trimix? I want to use it for a long time since I am too young

Taking viagra every day probably contributes to priapism

Always have Sudafed on hand in case your erections won't go down...I personally won't inject unless I got at least 6 on hand just in case.

My urologist said that phenylephrine is the antidote. It's one of the Sudafed ingredients, but it's available by itself here in USA under the "Wal-Phed PE" trade-name at Walgreens. The one time I had to use it, I took a triple dose, 30mg, and it worked very slowly, so it's not a perfect antidote. The urologist also said to keep an ice-bag handy until I got injection experience.

I prefer to inject manually because it was easy to titrate up to the dose that gives me 2-1/2 hours every time.

Hi Frenchie,

Sorry, I haven't been online for a looong time.

Over the past 18 months I have managed to continue using 100mg sildenafil with only one failure (I was very stressed with work at the time which didn't help). I'm going to keep off injections for as long as possible.

Yes, I believe there is some scarring risk with using Invicorp. A urologist will be able to tell you whether this is worse or better than standard Edex/Caverject etc. But the good news is, it definitely works. It's powerful stuff!
