Arginine + injections, anyone asked their Doc?

Mixing Arginine and/or Citrulline with injections has comes up here a few times.
Usually, I wouldn't expect doctors to be supportive of such ideas because medication interactions are a difficult science and is risky.
I was told not to mix PDE5i's with injections, I suspect because of the risk of priapism.
So I suspect a similar concern would be for mixing Arginine with injections.
However a bonus of using Arginine with injection therapy would be that the injection dosage could be reduced, and so the impact and risks of injecting would reduce, namely the impact of the acidity of Trimix could be reduced over time.
Citrulline converts to Arginine in the body, and so can possibly last over 4 hours and so would be a risk of priapism.
However Arginine has a half life of 1-2 hours.
Has anyone asked their doctor about mixing Arginine with injections so to maximize the lifespan of injection therapy by reducing the required dosage?
