Not ED related, BUT---

I have been getting injections of testosteral at my URO office for years. I am now going to do my own injections, which is fine. I had my URO send in an order to express scripts or syringes and needles to do the job. (Here is something I don't understand, She takes a 18 gauge needle to draw the stuff out of the vial, then she switches the needle to a 25 gauge needle to jab me in the ass with. If you can inject with a 25 gauge needle why can't you draw with the same size)?
So she sends a script to express scripts for the syringe (Leur-lock) and the two different size needles. Now, the cost of those three items through the military pharmacy for home delivery is $87.00 co-pay, and the copay just went up as of January 1st. OH, I forgot to mention the order only calls for 6 each of the syringe and needles.
So, I started checking online and found I can order all three items at a quanity of 100 each for a total including tax for $32.00. A savings of about $50.00.
So, for any of you guys and or gals who are getting syringes and needles through express scripts you are being ripped off.
Also, I would like to know if a smaller gauge needle than 25 gauge can be used to draw or inject the medication.
Any help or comments are appreciated.
