Hello all. I have been reading a confusing information about the Caverject 40 solid(before mixing) shelf life. Caverject do not have them in an injection dual chamber formula like the Caverject 20. The official website mention 3 month of shelf life after you get the prescription filled. I am using the caverject 20 dual chamber injection now and It has an expiry date till the mid of 2024. Does anybody have an experience with Caverject 40 to validate what is on the vial as an expiry date or whay the discrepency betten the 40 and the 20. Thank you.

I have no experience with Caverject. However, I have used Edex 20s and 40s that have been stored the it's dry form for a couple years. I couldn't tell any difference.

I used Caverject 40mcg for several years. My understanding is that uncontituted the dry powder will last for more than a year in the fridge. Once mixed with the supplied bacteristatic water it is certainly OK for at least a week in the fridge or much longer if frozen either in the vial or in a syringe.
