I injected twice with a 1/2" needle, once at the urology office and once
at home. I had really good results both times. This weekend I tried injecting
caverject with a 5/16" needle, I tried injecting twice but both times I had no
results because I do not believe I was deep enough. Any other injectors out
there that favor the 1/2" needle over the 5?16" needle??

I find with the 5/16 I have to bury it to the hilt and then some to get it in.

I prefer the 1/2", you should feel when it goes past the tunica (some pain for me) then there is no resistance past there. If you are injecting quick you may miss that, but you can always aspirate.

I had a couple of misses with the 5/16", but never a miss (over 100 perfect) with the 1/2". I also don't like the auto-injector method of injecting. This is because you can't feel the resistance of entering the tunic, and also it's important to observe the lack of resistance when injecting in the correct spot. I've also found the Easy Touch brand syringe works best for me because after freezing the plunger continues to work absolutely perfectly.

I use a 30 gauge 1/2" long needle with great success. One time they sent me a package of 31 gauge 5/16" long needles by mistake. I tried one and it didn't work. It didn't go in far enough I guess. Luckily I still had a few 1/2" long needles so the next day I used the 1/2" needle and had a very good erection. Originally my Uro prescribed the 1/2" long needles. I guess he knows what he's doing.
